Karel Vuursteen |
Mr. Karel Vuursteen has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TomTom NV since April 23, 2008. He was first appointed to the Supervisory Board in April 2006. Having earned a Masters in Agriculture from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, Mr. Vuursteen worked from 1968 to 1991 for Royal Philips Electronics N.V. This included various management positions in the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria and North America. His last position at Royal Philips was President of Philips Lighting B.V. In 1991, he joined Heineken N.V. as a Member of the Executive Board, moving into the role of Vice Chairman in 1992 and finally Chairman of the Executive Board from 1993 to 2002. Mr. Vuursteen is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of Heineken Holding N.V., Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Akzo Nobel N.V. and a Member of the Board of Henkel KGaA. He is also Chairman of Stichting Het Concertgebouw Fonds and Stichting Grachtenfestival. Mr. Vuursteen is Chairman of the Company's Selection and Appointment Committee and Member of the Remuneration Committee. |
Harold Goddijn |
Mr. Harold Goddijn has been Member of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of TomTom NV since 2001. Mr. Goddijn studied Economics at the Universiteit van Amsterdam (Amsterdam University), and started his career with a venture capital firm. He founded Psion Netherlands BV in 1989 as a joint venture with Psion Plc, and co-founded TomTom in 1991 with Peter-Frans Pauwels and Pieter Geelen. He continued to lead Psion Netherlands BV and made it a European distributor for Psion. In 1998 he was appointed Managing Director of Psion Computers and served on the Board of Psion Plc from 1998 to 1999. |
Douglas Dunn |
Mr. Douglas (Doug) J. Dunn has been Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TomTom NV since May 13, 2005. He holds a Higher National Qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the College of Advanced Technology, Sheffield University. On his retirement in December 2004, he had for the previous five years been Chief Executive Officer and President of ASML Holding NV. Prior to this, he was Member of the Board of Management of Royal Philips Electronics NV, and Chief Executive Officer of its Consumer Electronics division (1996-1999) and its Semiconductor Division (1993-1996). Before joining Philips, Mr. Dunn was from 1980 through 1993, Managing Director of the Semiconductor and Components division of General Electric Company Plc. Prior to that, he held various Engineering and Senior Management Positions in the United States of America and the United Kingdom with Motorola Semiconductors. Mr. Dunn currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARM Holdings Plc and is Non-Executive Director of Soitec SA, as well as Member of the Supervisory Boards of STMicroelectronics NV and BE Semiconductor Industries NV (Besi). Marina Wyatt |
Ms. Marina Wyatt has been Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of TomTom NV since February 2005. She is a Cambridge University graduate, a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Having spent nine years with Arthur Andersen in the United Kingdom and United States, She joined Psion Plc as Group Controller in 1994 and became Chief Financial Officer in 1996. Mr. Alain De Taeye has been Member of the Management Board of TomTom NV since October 2008. He graduated as Engineer-Architect from the Universiteit Gent (University of Gent). After having done research work in the field of Operations Research at the Business School of the Gent University, he founded Informatics & Management Consultants (I&M) where, next to IT consultancy, he continued his work on digital map databases and routing. In 1989 I&M was integrated into the Dutch Tele Atlas group and as of 1990 Mr. De Taeye headed the Tele Atlas group. |

Mr. Guy Demuynck has been Member of the Supervisory Board of TomTom NV since May 13, 2005. He gained his Masters degrees in Applied Economics and Marketing & Distribution from the Universities of Antwerp and Ghent respectively. He began his career at Royal Philips Electronics NV, where he worked for 26 years in various commercial and marketing roles in Europe, the United States and East Asia, culminating in his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Philips Consumer Electronics division in 2000. In this role, he also served as Member of the Philips Group Management Committee until December 2002. He is former Member of the Board of Management of Royal KPN NV with responsibility for KPN's mobile division and served on the Supervisory Board of E-Plus Mobilfunk Geschäftsführungs GmbH. From 2006 until August 2008, he was Chief Executive Officer of Kroymans Corporation BV, a company active in the automotive industry. In 2009 and 2010, he was the Chief Executive Director of Liquavista BV, a company active in the consumer electronic industry. Guy currently is a non-executive member of the Management Board of Belgacom NV. He was recently appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of both Apollo Vredestein BV, a tyre manufacturer and Xsens Holding BV, a company active in the sensor industry. He was first appointed to the Company’s Supervisory Board in May 2005. Mr. Demuynck is Chairman of the Company's Remuneration Committee and Member of the Selection and Appointment Committee. |

Mr. Rob F. van den Bergh has been Member of the Supervisory Board of TomTom NV since April 25, 2007. He earned his Masters degree in Law at Leiden University in the Netherlands. From 1975 until 1980 he worked as Legal Counsel General Affairs for "Nederlandse Dagblad Unie", a publisher of Dutch daily newspapers. He then began a career with VNU NV (currently Nielsen Media Research BV) from 1980 until 2006. This included six years as Member of the Executive Board, two years as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, and finally Chairman of the Executive Board in the United States. He was Member of the Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO NV from 2005 until 2009. He currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of NV Deli Maatschappij and Stichting holding Isala Klinieken and as a member of the Supervisory Boards of Holding Nationale Goede Doelen Loterijen NV (Postcode Loterij) and Pon Holdings BV. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of NPM Capital NV and has recently been appointed as supervisory board member of Koninklijke Ahold NV. Mr. Ben van der Veer has been Member of the Supervisory Board of TomTom NV since October 2008. He became a Registered Accountant in 1980 already working for KPMG in the Netherlands. In 1987 he became a Partner of the firm and from 1989 he served as Chairman for its Amsterdam office. Mr. van der Veer joined the Board of Management of the Dutch firm in 1997 and was elected Chairman of the Board of Management in 1999. In this capacity he also joined the International Board of the KPMG network. In 2005 he was also elected as Chairman of the Board of the KPMG EMA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) one of the three international KPMG regions. In this capacity he became a Member of the International Management Committee of the KPMG International network. He ended his term of service with KPMG in September 2008.
