Name Description

Tony Elumelu

Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, CON, has served as Chairman of the Board of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc since 2011. During his professional career, he was also appointed as Chairman of Heirs Holdings Limited, an African proprietary investment firm, and is Founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation, an African based and funded philanthropy. He holds a graduate and a postgraduate degree in Economics and is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He is also an Alumnus of the (IMD) Institute of Management Development, advanced Management Programs in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Singapore Institute of Management. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from the Benue State University and an honorary Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His corporate reputation as a leading African business leader was founded on his role in re-shaping the African financial services industry. He was the driving force behind the rise of United Bank for Africa (UBA), transforming it from a single country bank, to a Pan-African institution serving over seven million customers in 20 African countries and operating in three continents.

Emmanuel Nnorom

Mr. Emmanuel N. Nnorom serves as President/Chief Executive Officer, Director of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He is a seasoned Auditor and Banker with over two decades of experience working with several companies quoted in the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is an Alumnus of the Templeton College of the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He trained as an Accountant with Peat Marick Castleton Elliot & Co. He has held several positions in the Banking and manufacturing industry. He was appointed an Executive Director with UBA Plc in 2008 and is currently the Executive Director responsible for the Group finance directorate. He was Chairman of the Establishment Committee of the Company. He also served as Member of the Audit Committee of the Company until April 2011.

Ibikunle Oriola

Mr. Ibikunle Ibiyinka Oriola has served as Chief Finance Officer of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc since September 18, 2013. He is a Chartered Accountant and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Lagos Akoka in 2000, before being certified by the Institute of Chartered of Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) as an Associate Member in 2000. He started his working career as a Research Analyst in the Investment Management and Research Unit in Asset and Resource Management Company Limited between March 2001 and June 2002. He moved to Kakawa Discount House Limited as an Officer; Corporate Finance between July 2002 and October 2003, while from October 2003 to July 2007, he became the Senior Associate, Financial Advisory Services (Corporate Finance). He joined KPMG Corporate Finance, Dubai; United Arab Emirate as an Assistant Manager between July 2007 to September 2008. From October 2007 to September 2010, he became Manager, Financial Advisory Services (Corporate Finance and Transaction Services and became the Senior Manager between October 2010 till July 2011). On the training attended, he has attended trainings both within and outside the country among which are Transaction Services 11 Training (UK, 2011), KPMG Manager Milestone School (Budapest, 2009), Oil, Gas and Power Project Finance, Euro Money Training (Dubai, 2008) among other trainings attended. He was the Head, Financial Advisory (Mergers and Acquisition, and Investment Banking) with Eco Bank Development Corporation (Ecobank Capital) prior to his current appointment.

Tony Chukwueke

Mr. Tony Chukwueke serves as Director, Transcorp Energy of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He is responsible for leading a team of specialists to develop the Company’s Energy Portfolio including the recent acquisition of the 972MW capacity Ughelli Power Plant. He has over 35 years global oil and gas experience in the upstream and downstream sectors. He holds a B. Sc. in Physics, an M. Sc. in Applied Geophysics and a Ph. D in Geology, all from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Tony is also the Technical Director of Tenoil Petroleum and Energy Services, an indigenous Nigerian Oil and Gas exploration and production firm wholly owned by Heirs Holdings Group. He provides support and consultancy services to a several oil and gas investors in Nigeria and around the world.

Adeoye Fadeyibi

Mr. Adeoye (Ade) Fadeyibi serves as Managing Director/Chief Executive of Transcorp Power Limited of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He has over 13 years of experience in Power Generation and related services. He started his career with Guilford Mills as a Plant Maintenance Engineer, then moved to New York State Energy Research as a Research Associate on Fuel Cell technology. He later joined GE Controls, Accessories and Systems Engineering as a Cost/Design Engineer/Contractor. His early career roles were focused on production, maintenance and ensuring delivery targets were always met. Majority of his career experiences were gained from General Electric, the power generation services and equipment producer. Whilst at GE, he worked in several capacities ranging from Turbines Technical Adviser, Service Manager Installations, Africa to Portfolio Manager-Sub-Saharan Africa, Acting Service Director - Africa, India and Middle East and Sales Director- Africa. He contributed to the structuring service deals for GE Africa projects and was responsible for power plant installation projects across Africa. He was nominated on interim to manage overall Power Services for Africa, India, and Middle East. He led Mechanical Engineers on gas turbine power plant installations and maintenance outages and was appointed a Technical Advisor to construction contractors whilst implementing engineering field modifications, maintaining GE onsite budget, customer relations, supervising union/non-union craft labor, project planning and scheduling, and managing warranty and contractual claims. He completed the Lean six sigma training, and participated in the lean process for power services. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York and attended several technical and management trainings from the General Electric Power Systems University and Management Learning Programs.

Dupe Olusola

Ms. Dupe Kupoluyi Olusola serves as MD/CEO, Teragro Commodities within Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. She has over 16 years of experience in Banking, Private Equity, Developmental and Business Consulting and Asset Management. During her professional career, she worked for United Bank for Africa, African Capital Alliance, Bloomberg Financial Markets United Kingdom (UK), Afrinvest West Africa (formerly Securities Transaction and Trust Company), Northern Trust Corporation UK, Growing Businesses Foundation and Abraxa Consulting UK, among others. She obtained an Investor Relations Certification from the United Kingdom. She is a PMI Certified and Prince Two Practitioner Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Leicester and a Master of Arts degree in Development Economics from the University of Kent.

Valentine Ozigbo

Mr. Valentine Ozigbo serves as CEO, Transcorp Hotels Plc within Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He is a banker and accountant with over 20 years experience in commercial, retail, investment and international banking. Prior to his appointment at the Company, he was Keystone Bank's (successor to Bank PHB) General Manager and Divisional Head in charge of Global Transaction Banking, covering all the products of the Bank, international business, correspondent banking relationships, global trade, bureau de change business and e-business. Before then, he was Divisional Head of International Banking and Head of Global Strategic Alliances at United Bank for Africa Plc. During his professional career, he also worked with FSB Int. Bank Plc (now Fidelity), Continental Trust Bank Ltd (now part of UBA) and Diamond Bank Plc. He is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Lancaster University.

Jewel Okwechime

Ms. Jewel Nkechi Okwechime serves as Head, Administration, Business Development and Project Monitoring of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. Jewel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from the Riverside Halton College, Cheshire, England and a Masters of Engineering in Chemical and Bio-process Engineering from the University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey, England. She is also a member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Society for the Environment (Soc Env) and  Engineers Australia(IEA). With over 15 years experience working in and consulting for clients in the oil and gas sector, Jewel has extensive experience in corporate advisory, business development and investor relations. Her work experience prior to joining Transcorp was as Managing Director for Deltic Energy, an Energy consulting company; Senior Environmental Advisor and later as a Process Engineer for Woodside Energy Limited; Environmental Advisor at J&R Environmental Services; Senior Environmental Consultant at Atkins Global; Environmental and Safety Engineer at Rohm and Haas Engineering Company; and most recently as Senior Executive Assistant to the Chairman, Heirs Holdings.

Christopher Ezeafulukwe

Mr. Christopher (Chris) Ezeafulukwe serves as Group General Counsel of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He holds an LL.B degree from the University of Lagos, an LL.M from the University of Lagos and an LL.M from the University of Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. With over 15 years working as an executive level professional, Chris has extensive experience in legal advisory and support services, as well as company secretarial and related practices. He has a strong background in in-house and external legal practice with a specialized ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. His work experience prior to joining Transcorp was as Junior Counsel for Paul Usoro (SAN) & Co., Head of Legal & Company Secretary for Bank PHB Plc (Now Keystone Bank Limited), and most recently as Company Secretary for Transcorp. He took a break in 2013 for a Masters program in Energy, Environmental and Nat. Resources Law at the University of Houston, Texas.

Alexander Orakwusi

Mr. Alexander Orakwusi serves as Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. Qualifications: B.A. Political Science (Government & Politics). He has a cumulative 9 years of marketing communications, advertising and Public Relations professional experience in Nigeria and the United States. Before Joining the Transnational Corporation of Nigeria, Alexander was an award winning creative director in the Nigerian Advertising Industry. He had successfully secured multiple awards in Nigeria and South Africa in recognition of creative excellence. He polished his craft working for notable advertising agencies including JWT Nigeria and SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi. He attended Michigan State University and The City University of New York, where he graduated with a BA in Political Science (Government & Politics).

Chinazor Ibe

Ms. Chinazor Valerie Ibe serves as Head, Internal Audit of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. She has varied experience in internal audit and control, quality assurance, compliance and process reviews, accounting/financial reporting, and corporate governance. Chinazor holds a second class upper degree, Bachelor of Science, in Accounting from Ado-Ekiti University and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She started her career as an Analyst in KPMG Professional Services, a leading Nigerian partnership with international affiliation, which provides audit, tax and advisory services. Prior to joining Transcorp, she had risen to the position of Manager in the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services Unit of the firm, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the day-to-day aspects of assigned engagements. Chinazor has attended numerous professional training courses and has served several clients operating in diverse industries including oil and gas, telecommunications, financial services and consumer markets.

Chinedu Eze

Mr. Chinedu N. Eze serves as Company Secretary of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He has over a decade of corporate, commercial, legal and company secretarial experience in the Banking and Finance industry, garnered through in-house hands-on practice as a legal counsel in the legal departments of four different banks in Nigeria over the period of his career. Prior to joining the Company, and while garnering legal experience in the banking sector, he worked on financial transactions for the banks in loan syndication for construction, telecommunication and different public-private partnership infrastructure projects. He also participated in the financing of different oil and gas development projects. He is Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (the United Kingdom and Nigeria), an Associate Member of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars and a Member of the UK Environmental Law Association. He holds an LLB degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master of Legal Letters degree from the University of Lagos. He also received a Master of Legal Letters degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Abdulquadir Bello

Alhaji Abdulquadir Jeli Bello serves as Non-Executive Director of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc. He is an experienced financial service professional with over 20 years extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry. Prior to his appointment, he was an Executive Director at United Bank for Africa Plc where he successfully deepened the Bank’s risk management processes through introduction of clear manuals on various aspects of credit and other risk management activities. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Bayero University, Kano (1984) and an ACA Certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (CAN). He also has a certificate in Science, Technology and Society in Foundations of Nigeria Culture. He has attended many courses both within and outside Nigeria. Among which are: Corporate Banking Strategy, Prague, Czech Republic organized by Euromoney Training EMEA, Advance Project Finance - Lagos Nigeria, International Oil Supply, Transportation, Refining and Trading - Oxford, United Kingdom among others. He is Member of the Audit Committee of the Company.

Chibundu Edozie

Mr. Chibundu Edozie has served as Non-Executive Director of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc since 2011. He is also Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee and Member of the Nominations and Governance Committee of the Company. He has been Member of the Statutory Audit Committee of the Company since June 19, 2012. He has over 19 years of experience in the capital market and investment banking industry. He is Group Deputy Managing Director of BGL Plc in charge of its strategic business platforms including BGL Asset Management Limited, BGL Private Equity Limited, BGL Securities Limited and the Investment Banking Group. He also oversees the international expansion of BGL Plc's operations. He is Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a past Member of the Governing Council of the Institute. He is also Member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society. He also serves as a Director on the Boards of BGL Asset Management Limited, BGL Private Equity Limited and BGL Securities Limited, wholly-owned subsidiaries of BGL Plc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Mining from the University of Jos. He is an Alumnus of the New York Institute of Finance, the IMD Business School, Switzerland, and the Lagos Business School.

Olorogun Emerhor

Mr. Olorogun O'tega Emerhor, OON, has served as Non-Executive Director of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc since 2007. He was also Member of the Statutory Audit Committee of the Company until June 19, 2012. In addition to his duties at Transnational Corporation of Nigeria PLC, he is also Vice Chairman/Group Chief Executive Officer of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc, Chairman of Synetics Technologies Ltd and Heroes Group. He also holds directorships in a number of companies and he has received various awards. During his professional career, he was also appointed as Vice Chairman of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds fellowships from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Institute of Credit and Risk Management of Nigeria and Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies. He is also Member of the Institute of Marketing Consultants. He trained as Chartered Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and has worked in several Banks. He obtained a degree in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1983.

Kayode Fashola

Mr. Kayode Fashola has served as Non-Executive Director of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc since 2009. He is also Member of the Nominations and Governance, Finance and Investment and Statutory and Audit Committees of the Company. He is a professional Banker with over 22 years of experience. He started his professional career in Nigeria Agricultural Co-operative and Rural Development Bank, Kaduna. He has held various Management positions in Wema Bank and is Regional Executive in charge of South West Business Group. He is Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and an Honorary Senior Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan in 1986, a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Banking from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. He is an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and the London Business School.

Stanley Lawson

Dr. Stanley Inye Lawson has served as Non-Executive Director of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc since 2011. He is also Member of the Finance and Investment Committee of the Company. In addition to his duties at the Company, he is also Director at Fidelity Bank and Transcorp Energy Limited. He has a professional experience spanning three decades in the energy and financial services sectors. He is Managing Partner of Financial Advisory and Investment Consultants, an oil and gas-sector focused financial advisory services firm. In December 2004, he was appointed as Group Executive Director of Finance and Accounts at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) with core responsibilities for oversight of funding, budgeting and cash flow planning. He spent the early years of his career as a Resident Geologist/Drilling Engineer after which he entered the Banking/Finance Industry where he spent over 17 years, rising to the position of Managing Director/Chief Executive of African Express Bank in 2003. He has attended several international leadership and management courses. He obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Ibadan in 1987, as well as a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Ibadan in 1985. He also received a Bachelors degree in Geology from the University of Port Harcourt in 1981.
