Name Description

Soedjai Kartasasmita

Mr. Soedjai Kartasasmita has been the President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since December 2001. He completed his formal education at the Middelbare Landbouwschool of Bogor (now Sekolah Pertanian Menengah Atas) and INSEAD or Institut European d'Administration des Affaires, France, and the INSEAD Advanced Management Program in Fountainebleau, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore and San Francisco. He is also serves as Commissioner of PT Surya Sawit Sejati in Central Kalimantan, a subsidiary of the Denmark company United Plantations Bhd. (2006-now); Soedjai Kartasasmita has more than 60 years of experience in agro-business, starting as an executive of Mira-Mare Plantations (Tiedeman & van Kerchem) West Java (1950-1955); was President Director and accompanied the Agricultural Minister in managing 28 State-Owned Plantation Companies (1979-1983), became President Commissioner of several state-owned plantation companies, as well as Executive Secretary of the Indonesian Sugar Council (1982-1988) reporting directly to the Agricultural Minister and the Indonesian President. He has been actively involved in several national and international organizations, among others as Chairman of the Sumatra Plantations Association; was Chairman of the Indonesian Plantations Association; Head of Education and Research Division of the Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association - Head of Forestry and Plantation Division of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Chairman of the Jakarta Photographers Society; in 1983-1986 was Chairman of the International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ISSCT) covering the United States, Cuba, Brazil, South Africa, Western Europe, India, Mauritius, Taiwan and Japan, and currently still one of 20 ISSCT lifetime honorary members.

Muhammad Iqbal Zainuddin

Ir. Muhammad Iqbal Zainuddin serves as the President Director of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since July 2013. He was Business Development Director from May 2005 to July 2013. He has held various managerial positions at PT Kilang Vecolina and Jin Baili Oil Refining Co. Ltd., as well as Assistant Manager Corporate Development Agroindustry in PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk. He started his career at the Bakrie Group in 1995 as a Management Trainee. He was Advisor of the Association of Indonesian Biofuels Producers (APROBI), Chairman of the Plantations and Forestry Compartment of KADINDA Jambi, Chairman of GAPKI Jambi, Deputy Head for Forestry and Plantation Division of PII and Head of HR of Central GAPKI. He graduated from Bogor Institute of Agriculture (Bogor Agricultural University) in the field of Aquaculture in 1991 and obtained Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, USA, in 1994.

Gafur Sulistyo Umar

Ir. Gafur Sulistyo (Bobby) Umar serves as Vice President Commissioner of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 25, 2015. He served as Project Manager from October 1997 to February 1998, as Director from June 2000 to July 2002, and as Commissioner since July 2002. He obtained Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, USA, in 1995. He is the Head of Nomination and Remuneration Committees of the Company. He has been President Director/ Managing Director/CEO of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (2002-2008, 2009-2010, 2010-now), President Director/CEO PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (2008-now); Vice President Commissioner of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (2008-2009); Director of BSP (2000-2002); Director of BPP (March - August 2002); Director of AGW (1998-2002); Manager of Restructuring and Acquisition Project of BSP (1997- 1998); Assistant to the Chairman of the Bakrie Group (1995-1998). He is a Vice Chairman of Oil and Gas Energy of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry / KADIN (2015-2020), Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Public Listed Companies Association (2011-2017), Chairman of the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (2012-2015), Chief of the Permanent Committee for the Infrastructural Development of KADIN (2010-2015), Chairman of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization / AFEO (2012-2013), Chief of the Plantation Sector of KADIN Jambi (2001-2006), Vice Chairman of GAPKI West Sumatra Branch (2001-2004), as well as Assistant to the President of KADIN (1995-1998).

Adhika Andrayuda Bakrie

Mr. Adhika Andrayuda Bakrie serves as a Director of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 25, 2015. He holds Bachelor of Science from Newbury College, USA. He also serves as a Director of PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia since 2013, and as VP for Business and Strategic Development of PT Bumi Resources minerals Tbk since 2013.

Chee Weng Boey

Mr. Boey Chee Weng serves as a Director of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 25, 2015. He holds a Diploma in Agriculture from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia. He joined the Bakrie Group since 2013 as BSP Chief Operating Officer and has more than 40 years of experience in the plantation sector through a number of plantation companies in Malaysia and Indonesia, with the latest position being a Director of PT Rea Kaltim Plantation.

Balakrishnan Chandrasekaran

Mr. Balakrishnan Chandrasekaran has been Director at PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since July 2013. He obtained the bachelor of commerce from University of Madras, India in 1978. He has been with Bakrie Group for more than 20 years and has held senior positions in various entities within the group such as PT Bakrie Metal Industries, PT Bakrie Pipe Industries, PT Southeast Asia Pipe Industries, PT Seamless Pipe Industries, PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk and PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure. Before joining the Bakrie Group, was Chief Financial Officer of PT Texmaco Perkasa Engineering, and worked for Tata Group and TVS Group in India before assignments in Indonesia. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (1981) as well as the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (1983).

Rudi Sarwono

Mr. Rudi Sarwono serves as Independent Director of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 2010. He holds Master of Management from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he was with PT Perfetti Van Melle Indonesia, PT General Motors Indonesia, PT Samsung Metrodata Distribusi, PT Modern Adidata, PT Great River Industries and PT Astra International.

Chenji Srinivasan Seshadri

Mr. Chenji Srinivasan Seshadri has been Director of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since July 2013. He joined Bakrie Group in February 1992. He obtained the bachelor of commerce from Bangalore University, India. He is fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant and has practiced as accountant. Previously, he served as Advisor at PT Bumi Resources, Director of Enercorp Group of Companies; designated as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a petroleum company for Canadian operations, CFO of PT UMN, Financial Analyst of Sudan Sugar Projects Implementation Committee (SPIC) - Sudan, and Finance Manager of Builders Services Ltd. Andi W. Setianto

Mr. Andi W. Setianto has been Director at PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since July 2013. He has bachelor degree in electronic engineering from University of Indonesia and MBA from University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Mr. Adika Nuraga Bakrie serves as a Commissioner of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 25, 2015. He holds Bachelor of Science from Bentley University, USA in 2005. He also serves as Director of PT Jungleland Asia & PT Graha Andrasentra Propertindo since 2015, Director of PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia since 2013 and Manager of PT Kaltim Prima Coal since 2008. Anindya Novyan Bakrie

Mr. Anindya Novyan Bakrie serves as Commissioner of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 14, 2012. He holds Master of Business Administration from Stanford University in 2001. He is also the CEO of PT Bakrie Global Ventura (2012-now), CEO and President Director of PT Visi Media Asia Tbk / VIVA (2014-now), President Commissioner of PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (2013-now), PT Cakrawala Andalas Televisi / ANTV (2009-now) and PT Lativi Media Karya / TVOne (2007-now); President Director of PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (2003-2013); as the Vice Chairman for Organization, Membership and Empowerment at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry / KADIN since 2010; Board of Trustee member at the Eisenhower Fellowship since 2011, Indonesian Representative for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council (ABAC) since December 2009; International Council member at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs since 2011; and sits on the @america Advisory Board since 2011. Mr. Anton Apriyantono serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since June 2010. He holds an Engineering degree in Agricultural Technology from Bogor Agricultural University in 1982, Master of Science in Food Sciences from Bogor Agricultural University in 1988 and Doctorate in Philosophy in Food Chemistry from University of Reading in 1992. He is a member of the Governing Board of TUV Rheinhald International Certification Body since 2010, member of the Indonesian Innovation Committee, President Commissioner of PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Tbk, President Commissioner of PT Pertani Persero since 2012 and member of Advisory Board of Bakrie University since 2012. He has been involved in various professional organizations, including the Indonesian Society of Natural Products Chemistry since 2000, the American Chemical Society since 1993 and the Indonesian Association of Food Technologists since 1986.

Bungaran Saragih

Prof. Dr. Ir. Bungaran Saragih serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk since May 2008. He was the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia in the Persatuan Ministerial Cabinet and the Gotong Royong Ministerial Cabinet. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Socioeconomics from the Faculty of Agriculture of the Bogor Agricultural University in 1971, earned a Master's degree in Economics in 1977 and Doctorate in Philosophy in Socioeconomics in 1980 from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA. He received an Honoris Causa award from George August University, Germany, in 2004 and Matsuda Award from the International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS) in 2005, in recognition of his contribution to the agricultural sciences and agricultural development in Indonesia.
