Name Description

Cho Yaw Wee

Dr. Wee Cho Yaw is Non-Executive and Non-Independent Chairman of the Board of United Overseas Bank Limited. A banker with more than 50 years’ experience, he has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UOB since 1974. He relinquished his CEO position on April 27, 2007. He was appointed to the Board on May 14, 1958 and last re-appointed as Director on April 29, 2011. He is the Chairman of the UOB Executive, Remuneration and Board Risk Management Committees, and a member of the Nominating Committee. He is the Chairman of UOB subsidiaries, Far Eastern Bank, United Overseas Insurance, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) and United Overseas Bank (Thai) Public Company, President Commissioner of PT Bank UOB Indonesia, and Supervisor of United Overseas Bank (China). He is the Chairman of United International Securities, Haw Par Corporation, UOL Group, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, United Industrial Corporation, and Singapore Land and its subsidiary, Marina Centre Holdings. He is also the Chairman of the Wee Foundation. He was conferred the Businessman of the Year award twice at the Singapore Business Awards in 2001 and 1990. In 2006, he received the inaugural Credit Suisse-Ernst & Young Lifetime Achievement Award for his achievements in the Singapore business community. In 2009, he was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by The Asian Banker. Dr. Wee is the Pro-Chancellor of Nanyang Technological University and Honorary President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations and Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan. He received Chinese high school education and was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Letters by National University of Singapore in 2008. He was also conferred the Distinguished Service Order, Singapore’s highest National Day Awards in 2011, for his contributions in community work.

Ee Cheong Wee

Mr. Wee Ee Cheong is Executive and Non-Independent Deputy Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of United Overseas Bank Limited. He was appointed to the Board on January 3, 1990 and last re-elected as Director on April 29, 2011. A career banker, he joined UOB in 1979, and has experience handling various functions across the Bank. He served as Deputy Chairman and President of the Bank from 2000 to April 2007 before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer on April 27, 2007. He is a member of the UOB Executive and Board Risk Management Committees. He also holds directorships in several UOB subsidiaries and affiliates including Far Eastern Bank, United Overseas Insurance, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia), United Overseas Bank (Thai) Public Company and United International Securities. He is the Chairman of United Overseas Bank (China) and Vice President Commissioner of PT Bank UOB Indonesia. He is engaged in regional business development through his participation in key industry bodies. He serves as a council member of The Association of Banks in Singapore and as a director of The Institute of Banking & Finance and chairs the Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) Steering Committee. He is a member of the Board of Governors of Singapore-China Foundation, Visa APCEMEA Senior Client Council and Advisory Board of INSEAD East Asia Council and International Council. He is a director of the Wee Foundation, as well as the patron of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. Wee is an honorary council member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He had previously served as Deputy Chairman of the Housing & Development Board, and as a director of the Port of Singapore Authority, UOL Group and Pan Pacific Hotels Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) and a Master of Arts (Applied Economics) from The American University, Washington, DC.

Wai Fai Lee

Mr. Lee Wai Fai has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer of United Overseas Bank Ltd. He has been appointed to the position of Acting Chief Risk Officer of the Company with effect from May 9, 2012. Mr. Lee joined UOB in 1989. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has 20 years of experience in banking.

Mr. Cheo Chai Hong is Head - Corporate Planning & International Strategy of United Overseas Bank Limited. He joined UOB in 2005. He heads the Group Corporate Planning and International Strategy Department which is responsible for driving the strategy and performance of the overseas banking subsidiaries and branches. Mei Lee Chew

Ms. Chew Mei Lee is Head - Group Compliance of United Overseas Bank Limited. She joined UOB in 2006 as Group Head of Compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar to practice as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1979. Since then, she has served as global and regional head in compliance, legal and corporate secretariat capacities in the financial services industry working with international and regional banks.

Seng Hong Chng

Mr. Ronny Chng Seng Hong is Group Investment Banking of United Overseas Bank Ltd. He joined UOB in 2008. He oversees Group Investment Banking, comprising Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions and Leverage Finance businesses. Mr. Eddie Khoo Boo Jin is Personal Financial Services & Private Banking for United Overseas Bank Limited. He joined UOB in 2005 and is responsible for the Group’s consumer and private banking businesses mainly in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and China. Chin Yong Lee

Mr. Lee Chin Yong Francis is Head - Group Retail of United Overseas Bank Limited. Mr. Lee joined UOB in 1980. He currently leads the Group’s consumer and small business retail divisions. Prior to his appointment in Singapore in 2003, he was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UOB (Malaysia). Between 2003 and 2008, He was the head of International and spearheaded the Group’s expansion in the region. Meng Teck Lee

Mr. Victor Lee Meng Teck is Group Business Banking of United Overseas Bank Limited, since May 2012. He is responsible for the group’s strategic intent to expand business banking in the SME space in the regions covering primarily Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Mr. Terence Ong Sea Eng is Head - Group Global Markets & Investment Management of United Overseas Bank Limited. Mr. Ong joined UOB in 1982. He leads the Group’s Global Markets and Investment Management, Asset Management and Financial Institutions Group businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore. Mr. Ong has more than 20 years of experience in treasury services and operations.

Nicolette Rappa

Ms. Nicolette Rappa is Group Brand Performance and Corporate Communications of United Overseas Bank Ltd. She joined UOB in 2011. She leads the Group’s Brand Performance, Corporate Communications and Customer Advocacy and Service Quality functions across the region. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and has more than 20 years of experience in the communications and financial services industries in Singapore and in the Asia Pacific region.

Choon Hin Tan

Mr. Tan Choon Hin serves as Head - Group Credit (Retail) for United Overseas Bank Ltd. He joined UOB in 2012. He leads the credit approval and credit management divisions for the Group Retail Credit function. Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and has more than 16 years of retail banking experience across Asia.

Gim Choo Teo

Ms. Wendy Teo Gim Choo is Head - Group Channels of United Overseas Bank Ltd. She was appointed Head of Group Channels in 2009. Prior to her appointment she held senior positions in Personal Financial Services heading Sales and Distribution as well as Privilege Banking. She is an Associate with Institute of Bankers, UK and has more than 30 years of banking experience covering credit, consumer and private banking.

Kah Jin Tham

Mr. Eric Tham Kah Jin is Head - Group Commercial Banking of United Overseas Bank Ltd. He joined UOB in 2003. He oversees the Group’s medium-sized corporates and spearheads the expansion of this segment in Singapore and the region, through the Bank’s subsidiaries in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Singapore, and a Master of Business Administration in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

Karunia Tjuradi

Mr. Karunia Wirawan Tjuradi is Head - Corporate Banking (Regional) of United Overseas Bank Ltd. Mr. Tjuradi joined UOB in 2005. He oversees the Bank’s corporate banking business in the Greater China, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesian subsidiaries, as well as the Bank’s overseas branches. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Notre Dame, USA. He has more than 23 years of banking experience in corporate and investment banking. He had served as the Country CEO for Indonesia in another Bank prior to joining UOB.

Joo Yeow Wee

Mr. Wee Joo Yeow is Head - Corporate Banking, Singapore of United Overseas Bank Limited. He joined UOB in 2002. She is a seasoned human resource practice leader with many years of experience in managing human resources.

Vivien Chan

Mrs. Chan Vivien is Group Secretary, Head - Legal of United Overseas Bank Ltd. Mrs. Chan joined UOB in 1981. She holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Singapore. She was appointed as Group Secretary and Head of Legal in 1988. She has more than 30 years of experience in legal and corporate secretarial aspects of banking.

Yew Huat Ong

Mr. Ong Yew Huat has been appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of United Overseas Bank Limited effective January 2, 2013. He is also a director of United Overseas Bank (Malaysia). Cher Siang Koh

Mr. James Koh Cher Siang has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of United Overseas Bank Ltd with effect from September 1, 2012. He retired from the Singapore Civil Service as Controller of Income Tax after 35 years of service. In that capacity, he was both Commissioner of Inland Revenue and Commissioner of Charities. Prior to these appointments, he was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministries of National Development, Community Development and Education. He has experience in public administration, having also served in the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister’s Office. He is the Chairman of the Housing & Development Board, the MechanoBiology Institute, Singapore Island Country Club and CapitaMall Trust Management. He is also a director of CapitaLand, CapitaLand Hope Foundation and Pan Pacific Hotels Group. He is a former director of Singapore Airlines and UOL Group. He graduated from Oxford University, UK with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics. He also holds a Master of Arts from Oxford University, UK and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, USA. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 1983 and the Meritorious Service Medal in 2002.

Franklin Lavin

Mr. Franklin Leo Lavin is Non-Executive Independent Director of United Overseas Bank Limited. He was appointed to the Board on July 15, 2010 and last re-elected as Director on April 29, 2011. An independent and non-executive director, he is a member of the UOB Executive and Nominating Committees. He is also a director of Far Eastern Bank, a UOB subsidiary. Lip-Bu Tan

Mr. Tan Lip-Bu is Independent Non-Executive Director of United Overseas Bank Ltd. He was appointed to the Board on November 15, 2010 and last re-elected as Director on April 29, 2011. An independent and non-executive director, he is a member of the UOB Executive and Board Risk Management Committees. He is the Founder and Chairman of Walden International. He concurrently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cadence Design Systems and has been a member of its board since 2004. He also serves on the boards of Ambarella, Inc, SINA Corporation and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation. He is a former director of Flextronics International and Inphi Corporation. He is a member of the Committee of 100, the Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of California at Berkeley, the School of Engineering Dean’s Council, the Board of Trustees at Carnegie Mellon University and the School of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Nanyang University, Singapore, a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.

Meng Meng Wong

Mr. Wong Meng Meng is Independent Non-Executive Director of United Overseas Bank Limited. He was appointed to the Board on March 14, 2000 and last re-elected as Director on April 26, 2012. A non-independent and non-executive director, he is the Chairman of the UOB Nominating Committee. He is also a director of Far Eastern Bank, a UOB subsidiary. He is a lawyer by profession and a Senior Counsel. He is the founder-consultant of WongPartnership LLP. He is also a council member of The Law Society of Singapore and a member of the Public Guardian Board. He is the Chairman of Mapletree Industrial Trust Management and FSL Trust Management. He had previously served as the President of The Law Society of Singapore, the Vice President of the Singapore Academy of Law and as a member of the Military Court of Appeal and the Advisory Committee of Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
