Name Description

Carsten Browall

Mr. Carsten Browall has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vitrolife AB since April 29, 2013. He has been Independent Member of the Company's Board since April 19, 2012. He holds a Master of Science degree in Business and Economics from Goteborgs Universitet. He also serves as Board Member in GHP AB, Unident AB, Bellman&Symfon AB and SciBase AB as well as Chairman of the Board in Metrum AB and Osstell AB. He has experience in the medical device and healthcare sectors from senior positions in fast-growing companies such as Molnlycke, Nobel Biocare, Unfors RaySafe and Capio.

Thomas Axelsson

Mr. Thomas Axelsson has served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vitrolife AB since November 17, 2011. He was, among other things, CEO of Stille and Artema. Currently, he is Member of the Board of Directors at MedCap AB. He has also been Chairman of the Board of Directors at SBL Vaccin AB, Neoventa Medical AB, Dipylon Medical AB (previously CMA Microdialysis AB) and Airsonett AB, among others. He was also Business Area Manager at Baxter. He holds a Master of Science degree.

Christer Silversand

Mr. Christer Silversand serves as Chief Scientific Officer at Vitrolife AB. He joined the Company in 1998. He has more than 25 years of experience in Biomedical Research and Development. He spent 10 years in Academic positions at Goteborg University and the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, and more than 15 years at Vitrolife Sweden AB as Embryology and Toxicology Laboratory Director, Quality Control Director, Product Manager and Medical Affairs Manager. He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Zoological Physiology, with focus on Reproductive Biology.

Rickard Ericsson

Mr. Rickard Ericsson has been Vice President Market Region EMEA & Americas at Vitrolife AB since 2015. He holds M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management. He previously was Business Development Director Europe at SCA Incontinence Care, Sales and Marketing Director UK & Ireland at SCA Incontinence Care, Management Consultant at Adera and Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager at Telia.

Maria Forss

Ms. Maria Forss has been appointed Vice President Business Development and Global Marketing at Vitrolife AB, effective as of October 1, 2012. She joined the Company from PULS, where she was responsible for Business Development. She previously worked as Chief Executive Officer of DuoCort Pharma, and at AstraZeneca in different positions within Marketing and Product Management. She is Board Member of LIDDS AB. She holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Handelshogskolan at Goteborgs Universitet and Concordia University, Montreal.

Anders Ardstal

Mr. Anders Ardstal serves as Business Unit Director Media at Vitrolife AB. He has been employed at the Company since 2012. He previously was Vice President of Sales at LumenRadio, Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co, and held a number of operational positions at Thule. He holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linkopings Tekniska Hogskola, a part of Linkopings Universitet.

Fredrik Mattsson

Mr. Fredrik Mattsson has served as Member of the Board of Directors at Vitrolife AB since 2007. He is also Investment Director at Bure Equity AB, Chairman of the Board of XVIVO Perfusion AB, Biolamina and Celemi. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Vittra Utbildning AB. Jon Sigurdsson

Mr. Jon Sigurdsson has been Director of Vitrolife AB since May 5, 2015. He holds B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). He is also Ossur President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as Chairman of the Icelandic American Chamber of Commerce. His previous assignments include Commercial Counselor for the Icelandic Trade Council in New York, Chief Financial Officer at Alafoss, Head of the International Division of Eimskip and an Engineer for Bang and Olufsen Denmark.

Barbro Friden

Dr. Barbro Friden has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors at Vitrolife AB since April 26, 2010. She holds Doctorate in Philosophy degree and is Doctor of Medicine, specializing in Reproductive Medicine/IVF. She also acts as CEO at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg. She previously was Division Manager of Karolinska University Hospital (Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset). She is also former Director of Fertility Center in Gotheburg and Stockholm, and Medical Editor of Lakartidningen.

Tord Lendau

He was previously Controller at the Company, as well as Research and Development Controller at Volvo Cars. He is Board Member of AH Automation AB. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Handelshogskolan at Goteborgs Universitet.
