Name Description

Jay Garner

 Lieutenant General (Retired.) Jay M. Garner serves as an Independent Chairman of the Board of Vast Exploration Inc., with effect from August 4, 2011. Mr. Garner had been involved as an advisor to Vast and to Forbes & Manhattan, Inc. in the recent acquisition of an oil block in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq. General Garner's military career culminated with his being Assistant Vice Chief of Staff, U.S. Army. Prior assignments include Commanding General, U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command (USASSDC), headquartered in Arlington, Virginia; Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Force Development, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, Washington, D.C. at the Pentagon; Deputy Commanding General, V Corps in Frankfurt Germany; and Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Air Defense School. In January 2003, General Garner was appointed by the Secretary of Defense to organize and direct the Office of Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance (ORHA) for post-war Iraq. In 1991, General Garner was appointed Commanding General, Joint Task Force Bravo for Operation Provide Comfort in northern Iraq. Under his leadership, a coalition of American, British, French and Italian forces provided humanitarian relief assistance to the Iraqi Kurds. After his retirement from the military, General Garner became President of SYTechnology. From 2000 to 2001, he was a member of the Congressionally-mandated Commission to Assess United States National Security Space Management and Organization.

Ahmed Said

 Mr. Ahmed S. Said is Chief Executive Officer, Director of Vast Exploration Inc. He has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective December 3, 2012. He resigned from the position of President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from August 15, 2011. Mr. Said is a Professional Engineer and his background includes operational and senior management roles in the oil & gas industry both domestically and internationally. His recent focus has included corporate strategy development and host government negotiations. He is concurrently the President & CEO of Longford Energy Inc. and the President Oil & Gas Group of Forbes & Manhattan Inc., a private merchant bank. He is also the director of several public and private companies. Mr. Said holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada.

Deborah Battiston

 Ms. Deborah Battiston serves as Chief Financial Officer of Vast Exploration Inc., since November 1, 2011. Ms. Battiston is a Certified General Accountant with over 23 years of accounting and financial management experience. At present, she is the Chief Financial Officer of a number of Canadian public companies. Ms. Battiston obtained a B.A. in Economics from the University of Guelph.

Neil Said

 Mr. Neil Said serves as Corporate Secretary of Vast Exploration Inc., since August 4, 2011. Mr. Said is a corporate securities lawyer who works as a legal consultant to TSX and TSX Venture listed companies in the mining and oil & gas industries. Mr. Said previously worked as a securities lawyer at Toronto corporate law firm. He obtained his JD degree from the University of Toronto and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Scott Moore

 Mr. Scott Moore has been appointed as Director of Vast Exploration Inc., effective September 11, 2012. Mr. Moore is an experienced business executive with over 20 years in the resource and durable goods sector. He is currently the President and CEO of Dacha Strategic Metals Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of Forbes & Manhattan Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Tito Gandhi

 Mr. Tito Gandhi serves as an Independent Director of Vast Exploration Inc. He is President & CEO, Raj Gaming Corp. Mr. Gandhi has more than 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business operator and investor. During his career, he has bought, restructured and sold a number of private companies. Tito was the founder, President and CEO of the Office Solutions Group, a technology solution provider that was acquired in 2004 by OCE Imaging, a $2.5 billion business technology integrator from the Netherlands.
