Name Description

John Stumpf

Mr. John G. Stumpf serves as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wells Fargo & Co. Mr. Stumpf has served as Chairman since December 2009, Chief Executive Officer since June 2007, and as President since August 2005. He also served as Chief Operating Officer from August 2005 to June 2007, and as Group Executive Vice President, Community Banking from July 2002 to August 2005. Other Public Company Directorships - Chevron Corporation and Target Corporation. He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

John Shrewsberry

Mr. John R. Shrewsberry has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Executive Vice President of the Company, effective May 15, 2014. Mr. Shrewsberry is currently head of Wells Fargo Securities, which is the trade name for the capital markets and investment banking services of the Company and its subsidiaries, including Wells Fargo Securities LLC which he has led since 2009. He has served in various other leadership capacities at Wells Fargo Securities and its related predecessor businesses since 2006, including head of the Securities and Investment Group. Ms. Patricia R. Callahan serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer of Wells Fargo & Co. She was Executive Vice President (Office of Transition) from January 2009 to February 2011. She was Executive Vice President (Social Responsibility Group) from June 2008 to December 2008, Executive Vice President (Compliance and Risk) from June 2005 to September 2007 and Executive Vice President (Human Resources) from November 1998 to June 2005. Ms. Callahan has served with the Company or its predecessors for 36 years. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she earned her Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering and her Masters’ degree in Management/Finance. Kevin Rhein

Mr. Kevin A. Rhein serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Wells Fargo & Co. Ms. Carrie L. Tolstedt serves as Senior Executive Vice President - Community Banking of Wells Fargo & Co. She was Group Executive Vice President of Regional Banking from July 2002 to June 2007. Ms. Tolstedt has served with the Company or its predecessors for 24 years. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. degree in business administration and completed the Pacific Coast Banking School, University of Washington.

A. Charles Thomas

Mr. A. Charles Thomas has been appointed as Chief Data Officer of the Company effective March 2014. Thomas will join Wells Fargo from USAA where he served as the chief data and analytics officer. Prior to that, he ran USAA’s Research and Analytics team, the Market Strategy team and the enterprise data warehouse functions. Thomas also served in senior positions at Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing, HP and Reliant Energy.

Elaine Chao

The Honorable Elaine L. Chao is Independent Director of Wells Fargo & Company since July 1, 2011. Ms. Chao served as the 24th U.S. Secretary of Labor from January 2001 until January 2009. She has been a Distinguished Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, Washington, D.C. (educational and research organization) since January 2009 and from August 1996 until January 2001. She was President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of America from November 1992 until August 1996. Ms. Chao’s previous government experience also includes serving as Director of the Peace Corps from December 1991 until November 1992 and Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation from April 1989 until December 1991. John Chen

Mr. John S. Chen serves as Independent Director of Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Chen has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sybase, Inc., Dublin, California (computer software) since July 2010. Sybase is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAP AG, Walldorf, Germany. Mr. Chen also served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President, and as a director of Sybase from November 1998 until July 2010 when Sybase was acquired by SAP AG. Mr. Lloyd H. Dean is Independent Director of Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Dean has served as president and CEO of Dignity Health, a large multi-state healthcare organization that is the fifth largest hospital provider in the nation, and as a former executive vice president and chief operating officer of Advocate Health Care and officer of The Upjohn Company, Mr. Dean brings over 22 years of leadership, executive management, and business strategy experience to the Board. Similar to the Company, Dignity Health is subject to significant regulatory oversight, which provides Mr. Dean with additional insight in analyzing and advising on complex regulatory issues affecting the Company. The Board also benefits from Mr. Dean’s substantial finance, systems operations, service quality, human resources, and community affairs expertise, which he gained as a result of his responsibilities with Dignity Health. Mr. Dean’s prior service as the non-executive chairman of Cytori Therapeutics provides an additional corporate governance perspective to the Board. Mr. Dean holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Western Michigan University and also is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University’s Executive Management Program.

Susan Engel

Ms. Susan E. Engel serves as Independent Director of Wells Fargo & Company. Ms. Engel serves as Chief Executive Officer of Portero, Inc., New York, New York (an online retailer of luxury pre-owned and vintage personal accessories) since July 2009. She served as Chairwoman, Chief Executive Officer, and a director of Lenox Group Inc., Eden Prairie, Minnesota (a tabletop, collectibles and giftware marketer, manufacturer and wholesaler) from November 1996 until she retired in January 2007. Cynthia Milligan

Ms. Cynthia H. Milligan serves as Independent Director of Wells Fargo & Company. Ms. Milligan served as Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, Nebraska (higher education) from June 1998 to May 2009, when she was named Dean Emeritus of the College of Business Administration. James Quigley

Dr. Quigley served as chief executive officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL, the Deloitte global network) from 2007 until 2011, and as chief executive officer of Deloitte LLP, the U.S. member firm of DTTL, from 2003 until 2007. After serving as Chief Executive Officer of DTTL and Deloitte LLP, Quigley retired as a senior partner with Deloitte LLP in June 2012. He currently is a trustee of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation, a member of the board of trustees of The German Marshall Fund of the United States, and co-chairman of the TransAtlantic Business Dialogue. Quigley also is a member of the board of directors of Hess Corporation and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He previously was a director of the Center for Audit Quality, a trustee of the Financial Accounting Foundation, a member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Advisory Committee on Improvements to Financial Reporting, and a member of numerous committees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Quigley is the co-author of As One: Individual Action, Collective Power (2011), a book that addresses the leadership challenge of creating environments that inspire large groups to work together toward a common goal. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree and an honorary Doctorate of Business from Utah State University. He is an Independent Director of the Company.

Judith Runstad

Ms. Judith M. Runstad serves as Independent Director of Wells Fargo & Company. Ms. Runstad is a former partner of, and has been of counsel since January 1997 to the law firm of Foster Pepper PLLC, Seattle, Washington. She is a former Chairwoman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Other Public Company Directorships - Potlatch Corporation; and a former director of SAFECO Corporation.
