Name Description

Jeff Fettig

Mr. Jeff M. Fettig is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Whirlpool Corp. He has served as a director since 1999. Mr. Fettig has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Whirlpool since 2004 after holding other positions of increasing responsibility since 1981. Mr. Fettig is also a director of The Dow Chemical Company (since 2003).

Larry Venturelli

Mr. Larry M. Venturelli is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Whirlpool Corp., effective January 16, 2012. He joined Whirlpool as assistant corporate controller in 2002. He was promoted to vice president, Investor Relations in 2004; to vice president, controller and chief accounting officer in 2006; and to vice president and chief financial officer for Whirlpool Corporation's North America Region in 2008. He was named senior vice president, corporate controller, and chief accounting officer and chief financial officer for Whirlpool International in 2010. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Venturelli held various financial positions at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Campbell Soup Company and Quaker Oats. He earned a master's degree in management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business and a bachelor's degree in accounting from DePaul University.

Mr. Michael A.Todman is President of Whirlpool International, Director of Whirlpool Corp. He has served as a director since 2006. Mr. Todman has been President, Whirlpool International since January 2010 after holding other positions of increasing responsibility since 1993. Esther Berrozpe

Marc Bitzer

Mr. Marc R. Bitzer, Ph.D., is President, Whirlpool North America of Whirlpool Corp. Mr. Bitzer had been appointed as President, U.S. Operations of Whirlpool Corporation, effective January 1, 2009. Prior to this assignment, he served as President, Whirlpool Europe, beginning in January, 2006. Mr. Bitzer joined Whirlpool Europe in 1999 as Vice President, Baucknecht brand group and subsequently became Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales. Before joining Whirlpool Europe, Mr. Bitzer worked since 1991 for the Boston Consulting Group in Munich and Toronto, and was named Vice President in 1999. Mr. Bitzer earned both his MBA and doctorate from the St. Gallen Graduate School of Business, Economics and Law in Switzerland.

Joao Brega

Mr. Joao Carlos Brega is Executive Vice President, President, Whirlpool Latin America of Whirlpool Corp., since March 15, 2012. He became president, Embraco, in 2009. Previously, he was president, Whirlpool Mexico and Canada. Prior to this role, he was chief financial officer for Whirlpool Latin America. Brega joined Whirlpool in 1995 and served as operations director for Argentina and Chile, and finance director for North America and Latin America. Prior to Whirlpool, he worked for Sharp for Brazil.

David Szczupak

Mr. David T. Szczupak is Executive Vice President - Global Product Organization of Whirlpool Corp. He provides overall leadership for the company's product businesses and strategic sourcing. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Szczupak served as Chief Operating Officer of Dura Automotive Systems in Rochester Hills, Michigan. While at Dura, he provided strategic direction for product development, purchasing, manufacturing and product quality. Before joining Dura in 2006, he worked for Ford Motor Company for 22 years, where he held a variety of leadership roles. Mr. Szczupak also worked for Jaguar Cars for five years before it was acquired by Ford in 1990. Mr. Szczupak has a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.

Michael Johnston

Mr. Michael F. Johnston is Presiding Independent Director of Whirlpool Corporation. Mr. Johnston retired from Visteon Corporation, an automotive components supplier, in 2008. At Visteon, he served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Operating Officer at various times since 2000. In May 2009, Visteon filed for voluntary reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Before joining Visteon, Mr. Johnston held various positions in the automotive and building services industry. Diane Dietz

Ms. Diane M. Dietz is Independent Director of Whirlpool Corp. She has served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Safeway, since 2008, where she oversees the company's marketing, merchandising, manufacturing and distribution organizations. She joined Safeway from The Procter and Gamble Company, where she held positions of increasing responsibility, including as vice president and general manager of the Oral Care business.
