Name Description

Steven Koh

Mr. Steven Koh is Independent Chairman of the Board of Wilshire Bancorp Inc. Mr. Koh is the Chairman of Pacific Steel Corporation, an international steel trading and nationwide distributing company that he founded in 1973. He also has served as the Chairman of the World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Association and as a director of the Center for Industrial Research & Executive Education in California State Polytechnic University since 1997. Mr. Koh has served as a Director of Wilshire State Bank since 1986 and as Chairman of Wilshire State Bank's Board of Directors since 1993. Mr. Koh was appointed as a Director and Chairman of the Wilshire Bancorp Board upon Wilshire Bancorp's formation in December 2003.

Jae Whan Yoo

Mr. Jae Whan Yoo serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Wilshiree Bancorp Inc. Mr. Yoo has 35 years of experience in the banking industry and previously was President and Chief Executive Officer of two of the Korean-American banks in the United States. Most recently, Mr. Yoo was President and Chief Executive Officer of Center Financial Corporation, a Korean-American bank, from January 2007 to January 2011. During his tenure at Center Financial Corporation, Mr. Yoo effectively managed the bank through the financial crisis by improving its asset quality and restoring the company to consistent profitability. Prior to his tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer of Center Financial Corporation, Mr. Yoo served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Hanmi Financial Corporation in Los Angeles, California from July 2003 to December 2004. Mr. Yoo began his career at Bank of America in 1976 and progressively rose to positions of higher responsibilities in both the Seoul branch and the New York corporate office, before leaving the company in 1991 as Vice President and Group Manager of the Seoul branch. He then joined Korea Citibank (formerly KorAm Bank) in 1991, where he served until 2001 in various roles of increasing responsibility, including Executive Vice President. He earned his B.A. in international economics and his M.B.A., both from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea.

Alex Ko

Mr. Alex Ko serves as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Wilshire Bancorp Inc. Mr. Ko was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wilshire Bancorp and Wilshire State Bank effective April 7, 2008. On April 1, 2010, Mr. Ko was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ko is responsible for Wilshire State Bank's corporate finance, corporate accounting and reporting, planning and financial risk management, treasury and investment relationship functions. Before joining Wilshire Bancorp, Mr. Ko practiced for twelve years as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG. During that time, his focus was primarily in the area of financial services.

Jack Choi

Mr. Jack Choi has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer of Wilshire Bancorp, Inc., effective October 14, 2011. Mr. Choi is responsible for approving new loan production, assessing the portfolio risk and reserve adequacy, training and developing lending staff, and engaging in bank-wide strategic decisions. Before joining Wilshire Bancorp, Mr. Choi has more than 25 years of banking experience, primarily in the Korean-American community and was President and Chief executive Officer of Commonwealth Business Bank, a Korean-American bank serving Southern California, from 2005 to 2011.

Elaine Jeon

Ms. Elaine Jeon is Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Administrator of Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. Ms. Jeon is responsible for overall, day-to-day administration of the Bank, developing and implementing operations policies and procedures and responding regulatory requirements. Over 20 years of banking experience including 14 years at Wilshire, Ms. Jeon has served in various positions including operations as Chief Operations Administrator, accounting as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Controller, and lending.

Peter Koh

Mr. Peter Koh is Deputy Chief Credit Officer, Senior Vice President of Wilshire Bancorp Inc., since May 23, 2011. Mr. Koh is responsible for managing the quality of the loan portfolio, developing loan policies and procedures, overseeing Loan Administration, and training and guiding lending staff under the direction of Chief Credit Officer. Mr. Koh has served in various positions in the Bank including Planning Manager and Senior Loan Officer since 2007.

Donald Byun

Mr. Donald Byun serves as Independent Director of Wilshire Bancorp Inc. Mr. Byun has been the President of Jay Dee, Inc., a manufacturer of apparel, since 1990. He previously had an banking career at Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. during which time he served as a Director, a Human Resource Committee member and an Audit Committee member of Wilshire Bancorp and Wilshire State Bank from 2004 to 2007. He also served as a director of Pacific Union Bank, formally a Los Angeles-based bank, from April 2000 until its sale in April 2004. Mr. Byun was re-appointed as a member of Wilshire State Bank's Board of Directors, and as a Class I Director of Wilshire Bancorp in July 2009.

Lawrence Jeon

Mr. Lawrence Jeon serves as Independent Director of Wilshire Bancorp Inc. Mr. Jeon is a Certified Public Accountant and the President of Lawrence Jeon & Co. He has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, which includes financial audit and tax services for commercial banks, international trade companies and various types of businesses and industries. Founded in 2001, his company provides professional services in the areas of tax compliance and planning, financial audit, review and various business consulting. He also serves as a director and officer of non-profit organizations including Korean-American Chamber of Commerce in LA and Korean-American CPA Society of Southern California. Mr. Jeon was appointed as a member of the Wilshire State Bank Board of Directors and Wilshire Bancorp Board as a Class I Director in December 2007.

Kyu-Hyun Kim

Mr. Kyu-Hyun Kim serves as Independent Director of Wilshire Bancorp Inc. Mr. Kim retired in 1992 as the President and Chief Executive Officer of KEI Trading Co., Inc., an import and distribution business of consumer electronic products. During his professional career with KEI Trading Co., Inc. and other international trading companies related to consumer electronic products, he served in a variety of positions including Manager, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Mr. Kim has served as a member of the Wilshire State Bank Board of Directors since 1994, and was appointed as a Class III Director of Wilshire Bancorp in connection with the holding company reorganization that took place in August 2004.

Richard Lim

Mr. Richard Lim serves as Independent Director of Wilshire Bancorp Inc. Mr. Lim has been the owner and manager of High Society Tailor since 1968. He has experience and understanding of retail businesses and customer service. Mr. Lim has served as a member of the Wilshire State Bank Board of Directors since 1981, and was appointed a Class II Director of Wilshire Bancorp in connection with the holding company reorganization in August 2004. In addition, he joined Wilshire Bancorp's Nominations and Corporate Governance Committee and Company's Human Resources Committee in August 2004.
