Name Description

W. Reum

Mr. W. Robert Reum is Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of Waste Management Inc. He has been Chairman, President and CEO — Amsted Industries Incorporated (diversified manufacturer for the railroad, vehicular and construction industries) since March 2001.

David Steiner

Mr. David P. Steiner is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Waste Management Inc. He has been Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company since 2004; President of the Company since June 2010. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from April 2003 to March 2004, Director of TE Connectivity Ltd. (formerly Tyco Electronics Corporation) since 2007, Director of FedEx Corporation since 2009.

James Fish

Mr. James C. Fish Jr., is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Waste Management, Inc., since August 2012. Mr. Fish joined Waste Management in 2001 as Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Two years later, he was promoted to Vice President, Price Management and was responsible for running the Company’s pricing programs. Prior to joining Waste Management, Mr. Fish held finance or revenue management positions at Westex, a Yellow Corporation subsidiary; Trans World Airlines, Inc; and America West Airlines, Inc. He began his professional career at KPMG Peat Marwick.

William Caesar

Mr. William K. Caesar is President of WM Recycle America, L.L.C., the subsidiary of Waste Management, Inc., since January 2012. Mr. Caesar joined Waste Management in 2010 from McKinsey & Company, where he was a Principal in the Atlanta office and a of the North American Energy & Materials practice. Prior to joining McKinsey, Caesar served as a Russian political and economic analyst at the U.S. State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency. He holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University; an M.A. in Russian Studies from Georgetown University; and a B.A. in Russian Studies from Colgate University.

Mark Weidman

Mr. Mark A. Weidman is President of Wheelabrator Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Waste Management Inc since March 2006. As Wheelabrator’s president since 2006, Mr. Weidman’s responsibilities require him to oversee all issues pertaining to the operation and growth of the Company’s waste-to-energy and alternate energy businesses in the U.S., Europe and China. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Weidman served as the vice president of operations at Wheelabrator since 2001; president and COO of the processing division at Synagro Technologies, Inc., a Houston-based residuals management company, since its merger with Bio Gro in August 2000. Prior to that time, Mr. Weidman worked for Wheelabrator/Bio Gro for 11 years, serving as its president since 1996 and in the positions of executive vice president, region vice president and region manager. Before joining Wheelabrator/Bio Gro, Mr. Weidman worked in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment operations and design, and hazardous waste management for nine years. Mr. Weidman has an engineering degree from Penn State and is a registered professional engineer.

James Trevathan

Mr. James E. Trevathan is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of Waste Management Inc., since July 2012. He was Executive Vice President — Growth, Innovation and Field Support from June 2011 to July 2012; Senior Vice President — Southern Group from July 2007 to June 2011. He has held positions including Senior Vice President Eastern Group, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Southern Group, General Manager for Environmental Remediation and Region Vice President -- Industrial Services. Before joining Waste Management, he worked in various sales and marketing positions with the Stauffer Chemical Company. He is a graduate of the University of Houston and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and chemistry.

Puneet Bhasin

Mr. Puneet Bhasin is Senior Vice President - Technology, Logistics and Customer Service, Chief Information Officer of Waste Management Inc., since August 2012. He is responsible for the company’s information technology, logistics, and customer service operations. Prior to joining Waste Management, Mr. Bhasin held roles as senior vice president, global product and technology and chief information officer, North America for Monster Worldwide. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president for Putnam Investments and chief information officer for Ryder TRS. Mr. Bhasin received his bachelor of science degree from National Institute of Technology, India and a master of science degree from The Ohio State University.
