Magus, David David Magus is Chairman of Wireless Matrix Corporation. Mr. Magus President, Magus Engineering Limited, a private engineering firm. Mr. Magus is also director of certain other companies. Mr. Magus holds a P.Eng and is currently President, Magus Engineering Limited, a private engineering firm. He has over 45 years of business, executive management and director experience with tenures at several large international corporations, where he has been involved in various aspects of financial planning and operations.
Carlson, J. Richard J. Richard Carlson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wireless Matrix Corporation since May 2004 and Director since August 5, 2009. Prior thereto, he was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, U.S. Inspect, LLC and prior thereto, President and Chief Executive Officer, Teletouch Communications Inc. from 1997 to 2000.
Izurieta, Maria Maria C Izurieta is the Chief Financial Officer of Wireless Matrix Corporation since October 2004. Prior thereto she was Chief Financial Officer of VIPdesk from 2000 to 2004.
Milligan, Al Al Milligan is Chief Operating Officer of Wireless Matrix Corporation, effective August 28, 2007. He was the Executive Vice-President, Business Operations of Wireless Matrix Corporation. As COO, Milligan will oversee operations including network management, infrastructure, product management, account management, manufacturing and acquisition integration. Jakab, Michael Michael Jakab is Vice-President, Sales of Wireless Matrix Corporation. Mr. Jakab is a veteran of the supply chain industry. Michael brings 20 years of solution selling and business leadership experience to the Wireless Matrix team. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Routing and Scheduling solutions for Descartes Systems Group, a software and network provider of real-time transportation systems with wireless data integration for private fleets and carriers. While at Descartes Michael launched several new products within the business unit including mobile client applications and vehicle tracking, resulting in the unit's year over year revenue growth. Prior to Descartes Michael held P&L responsibility for transportation planning systems at The SABRE Group and was National Sales Manager for UPS Logistics. Michael's background also includes experience with early stage technology companies, most recently Synchris, where he served on the management team responsible for launching a new software product targeting Federal contractors. Mr. Jakab is Vice-President, Sales of Wireless Matrix Corporation since April 2006: prior thereto Vice-President of Sales SynchChris and Vice-President of Sales of Descartes.
Rao, Mohan Mohan A. Rao has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Wireless Matrix Corporation. Mr. Rao, who brings 18 years of extensive technology and software industry experience, will oversee the company's product development initiatives. Prior to joining Wireless Matrix, Rao spent over five years in a boutique management and technology consulting firm specialized in Service oriented Architecture (SOA) and complex business integration. During his tenure as a management consultant at Deloitte & Touche, he helped telecom clients integrate their existing IT infrastructure and platforms with new technologies acquired through mergers and acquisitions. Rao also previously served as CTO of Career Rewards, Inc., where he oversaw development of the company's Software-as-a-Service applications and technology roadmap.
MacKenzie, Neil Neil MacKenzie serves as Director of Wireless Matrix Corporation. Mr. MacKenzie is an Director and Vice-President of Newpark Drilling Fluids Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Newpark Resources Inc. (NYSE:NR) since 1998. Mr. MacKenzie has also held numerous executive positions with other firms where responsibilities include his regular review and assessment of various financial aspects, including detailed financial planning, of business operations.
Johansen, Arve Arve Johansen serves as Director of Wireless Matrix Corporation. He is former Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Mobile.
Bonner, Ian Ian Bonner is Director of Wireless Matrix Corporation. Mr. Bonner received his bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, and a graduate diploma in marketing management from the University of South Africa. He was previously the President and CEO of Inxight Software, Sistina Software and Terraspring. He has also served as executive chairman of the board for Commtouch Software Ltd, and as a director on the boards of BakBone Software Incorporated, Viacore, Inc., and Island Pacific, Inc.
Morbeck, Kirsten Kirsten S. Morbeck was appointed to mthe Board of Wireless Matrix Corporation effective January 12, 2009. Ms. Morbeck is managing director of Warm Spring Partners, a strategic venture firm. She has spent the past 12 years building and investing in early-stage technology companies, with focus on three sectors: Internet services, wireless and enterprise software. Her investment track record includes investments in seven companies that have gone public or been acquired including Tegic Communications (AOL/Nuance mergers), InterNAP and Aquantive (Microsoft merger). Her venture experience includes senior positions with Mohr, Davidow Ventures (MDV), and two successful regional venture funds. She co-founded the Early Stage Investment Forum, served on the boards of both the Northwest Entrepreneur Network and Alliance of Angels, and currently serves as a strategic adviser/board observer to three venture-backed companies. Operationally, Ms. Morbeck co-founded a stealth location-based services company in 2007 that is backed by Shasta Ventures, MDV and Bezos Expeditions. In addition, she has worked for Microsoft and Lehman Brothers. She is a graduate of Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics, concentration in applied mathematics in sciences.
Rinnan, Leif Leif Rune Rinnan has been appointed as Director of Wireless Matrix Corporation. Mr. Rinnan is a founding partner and chief executive officer of Telenor Venture and TeleVenture Management. He has been with the company since 1993. He brings over 26 years of management and business experience to the board in the fields of telecommunications and information technology.
