Charles Williamson |
Dr. Charles R. Williamson is Independent Chairman of the Board of Weyerhaeuser Co. He is a director of the company since 2004 and chairman of the Board since 2009, was the executive vice president of Chevron Corporation (international oil company) from mid 2005 until his retirement in December 2005. He was chairman and chief executive officer of Unocal Corporation (oil and natural gas) until its acquisition by Chevron Corporation in 2005. He served as Unocal Corporation’s executive vice president, International Energy Operations, from 1999 to 2000; group vice president, Asia Operations, from 1998 to 1999; group vice president, International Operations from 1996 to 1997; and held numerous management jobs including positions in the United Kingdom, Thailand and the Netherlands after joining Unocal in 1977. He was a director of Unocal Corporation and former Chairman of the US-ASEAN Business Council. He is also a director and chairman of the board of Talisman Energy Inc. and a director of PACCAR Inc. |
