Name Description
Light, Stephen Stephen R. Light is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Xerium Technologies Inc. Mr. Light has served as the Company’s President, Chief Executive Officer and as a director since February 2008. Beginning in July 2008, Mr. Light has also served as Chairman. Mr. Light was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of Flow International Corp., a publicly traded producer of industrial waterjet cutting and cleaning equipment from January 2003 to July 2007. Prior to Flow, Mr. Light was President and Chief Executive Officer of OmniQuip Textron from October 2000 to January 2003. Mr. Light has also held various management positions within General Electric Company, Emerson Electric Co. and Koninklijke Philips N.V.
Phillips, Michael Michael Phillips is Vice Chairman of the Board of Xerium Technologies, Inc. Mr. Phillips is a partner with private equity firm Apax Partners Beteiligungsberatung GmbH, which is an affiliate of Apax Europe IV GP Co. Ltd., the beneficial owner of approximately 54.3% of the outstanding shares of common stock of Xerium Technologies. He joined Apax Partners Beteiligungsberatung GmbH in October 1992. He is also a director of IFCO Systems NV, Sulo Entsorgungs GmbH, Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, Mueller Brot AG and Anker Brot AG.
Maffucci, David Mr. David G. Maffucci has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Director of Xerium Technologies, Inc effective June 8, 2009. He has served as Director of Xerium Technologies, Inc. Mr. Maffucci has served as a director since December 1, 2008. Fracasso, Eduardo Eduardo Fracasso has served as President of Xerium South America since January 2008. From June 2007 to December 2007 he held the position President—Xerium Brazil. Prior to that, he held various operational positions within the Company’s Brazilian subsidiaries over a period of approximately 18 years, most recently as Operational Director.
Williamson, Peter Peter Williamson has served as the President — Xerium Europe of Xerium Technologies, Inc. since February 2008. Mr. Johnson served as the Company’s Executive Vice President—Corporate Operations since joining the Company in April 2008 until September 2008. From August 1996 until November 2007, he served as Executive Vice President – Flow Asia of Flow International Corporation, a company that develops and manufactures ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) waterjet technology, and is a provider of robotics and assembly equipment.
Johnson, Thomas Thomas C. Johnson has been appointed as President of Xerium Asia of Xerium Technologies, Inc., effective September 4, 2008. Tom brings proven executive leadership experience in developing and nurturing Asian business to business relationships and revenue growth to his new assignment, as well as a solid background in operational management developed in businesses serving both OEM and consumables markets worldwide. The customer base he served included manufacturers in China and Japan in the aerospace, electronics, and commercial manufacturing markets. Tom also led successful alliance projects between his former employer, Flow International Corporation, and Chinese manufacturing companies to the development of jointly marketed products worldwide.
Badrinas Ardevol, Joan Joan Badrinas Ardevol has served as the Chief Technology Officer of Xerium Technologies, Inc. since February 2008. Mr. Badrinas had served as the Company’s President-Clothing Europe since joining the Company in July 2006 until February 2008. He served as President of Trelleborg Automotive Europe from September 2000 until July 2006. From May 1996 until 2000, Mr. Badrinas was Group Technical Director of BTR Anti-Vibrations Systems, which was sold to Trelleborg AB and became Trelleborg Automotive Europe. Previously, from 1984 to 1996, he held a series of positions ranging from Product Development Engineer to Industrial Operations Director with Pendelastica s.a. in Spain, a manufacturer of rubber and metal anti-vibration components used in automotive applications.
Paquette, Edward Edward Paquette has served as a Director of Xerium Technologies, Inc. since July 2004. He served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and a director of Standex International Corp., a diversified manufacturing company listed on the NYSE, from September 1997 to August 2001, when he retired. Prior to joining Standex International Corp., he was a certified public accountant and partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP for 26 years.
Hansen, Nico Nico Hansen is Director of Xerium Technologies, Inc. since August 2008. He has been a partner at Apax Partners, L.P., a private equity and venture capital consulting firm, since January 2007. Previously, Dr. Hansen was a partner at Apax Partners Beteiligungsberatung GmbH, which he joined in May 2000.
Gurandiano, Jay Jay J. Gurandiano is Director of Xerium Technologies, Inc since December 1, 2008. He has been the Managing Director of Stone House Investment Holdings Inc., an investment holdings company, since January 2001.
