Name Description

Mark Abdou

Mr. Mark Abdou is the Chairman of the Board of ZAP. Mr. Abdou has been the Managing Partner of Libertas Law Group since 2009. Libertas is a law firm specializing in corporate, corporate securities and finance and entertainment & emerging technology. From August 2008 to March 2009, Mr. Abdou served as General Counsel and Sr. Vice President of GTX Corp. From 2003 to 2009, Mr. Abdou was a partner at Richardson & Patel, LLP, and also practiced at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Mr. Abdou has been practicing law for 13 years and brings an entrepreneurial and legal focus to clients by providing counsel on a broad range of business issues ranging from financings, restructuring to investor relations and business development. Mr. Abdou has spent his career helping companies through the process of building their organizations and bringing creative and tailored legal solutions to business opportunities. Mr. Abdou assists both private and public companies in various industries, such as green technology, health & wellness, real estate, socially conscious businesses, media and technology and entertainment. Mr. Abdou received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California in 1996. He received his Juris Doctorate from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. Mr. Abdou also received a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica in 2010. Mr. Abdou was co-chair of the financing committee for the Voices of Uganda project Voices in Harmony. Voices of Ugandais a documentary telling the story of a cross-cultural collaboration between Ugandan teenagers and Los Angeles based creative professionals. Mr. Abdou is also a founding director of Project Play. Project PLAY! was founded to enrich the lives of today’s youth by supplying schools and other organizations with the resources necessary to promote the creative and physical growth of tomorrow’s leaders.

Jeff Schneider

Mr. Jeff Schneider is appointed as the President of Zap. He has over 20+ years experience in the automotive field. From October 2006 to January 2012 he worked for ZAP and its core business, Voltage Vehicles, managing Voltage Vehicles with a focus on electric transport. His operational skills cross all aspects of business including: inventory, sales, marketing, F&I, administrative, accounting, emissions, and international relations. He has experience with vehicle homologation and integration. With his passion for green technologies he has also spent many years assessing the viability of other alternative fuels and systems to bring to the market place. Throughout his years at Voltage Vehicles, he has improved the designs, performance, and functionality of electric vehicles ranging from scooters to cars while adding quality and safety. Mr. Schneider has direct knowledge and experience with marketing, shipping, and distribution both domestically and internationally and is familiar with many government agencies involved with such transactions. Aside from the automotive field, Mr. Schneider possesses banking/lending experience and holds a current real estate license. Mr. Schneider earned a BA in Economics from the University of California at Davis in 1989.

Gang Wang

Mr. Gang Wang is Co-Chief Executive Officer, Director of ZAP. Mr. Wang has also been the Chief Executive Officer of ZAP’s now 51% owned subsidiary Zhejiang Jonway Automobile Co. Ltd., or Jonway, since March 2009. He has been the Chief Operating Officer of Jonway Group Co., Ltd. from June 2006 to March 2009. Mr. Wang graduated from the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom with an undergraduate degree in business administration.

Chi Kwong Fung

Mr. Chi Kwong Fung has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of ZAP. Mr. Fung previously served as the Company’s Finance Director and interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Fung has served as Senior Finance Manager for SF Express (Group) Co. Limited. He also served as Financial Controller for Carlo Castello Management & Accounting Services Ltd. For thirteen years, Mr. Fung was the Finance Manager for T.G. Battery Co. (Hong Kong), Limited.

Charles Schillings

Mr. Charles R. Schillings has been appointed as Corporate Secretary of ZAP., effective August 6, 2013. Mr. Schillings was recently appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ZAP Jonway in July 2012 and is now appointed to the role of Co-CEO alongside Alex Wang, Co-CEO for ZAP Jonway's China division. Mr. Schillings has previous experience in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries as former CEO of Strasbaugh, a high tech equipment manufacturer. He has a financial and operational background, as well as sales and marketing experience selling to Asian technology companies. At ZAP Jonway he will oversee U.S. operations while supporting international partnerships as well as sales and marketing. He will develop additional partnerships in the Americas, focusing on expanding sales channels for both the EV product line of SUVs and minivans with Jonway Auto's traditional vehicles. Mr. Schillings currently serves on the Board of Directors for Strasbaugh, where he was President & CEO from 2005 to 2010. He also held executive management positions at Strasbaugh subsidiary R. H. Strasbaugh between 1994 and 2001, including Marketing, Sales, President and CEO. Schillings' prior experience includes mortgage securities, running a non-profit organization as well as due diligence analysis at a securities broker-dealer. He holds an M.S.B.A. in International Business from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Business Finance with an Economics Minor from San Diego State University.

Goman Chong

Mr. Goman Chong is the Director of ZAP. He serves as a general partner of Cathaya Capital, L.P. He has also been the President of Daifu Waste Management Holdings Limited since September 2007, a medical waste management company invested in by Goldman Sachs. Mr. Chong served as the Chief Executive Officer of Daifu Group, a medical information portal, from June 2007 to January 2009. From April 2004 to January 2006, he served as a Business Development Manager in Beijing for News Corporation, a global media company. Mr. Chong received his MBA degree from the Tsinghua–M.I.T. Sloan joint program at Tsinghua School of Economics and Management in 2004, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto in 1997.

Juan Gao

Ms. Juan Gao is appointed as the Director of Zap. She is an international business executive from Beijing, PR China. Since 2009 she has served as business representative to China for ZAP (USA), helping cultivate business relationships internationally, including supplier and distribution arrangements, marketing, finance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. From 2006 to 2009 she served as System Engineer for Siemens Ltd., China, where she provided IT solutions as well as functional advice in the use of an Intranet-based system to automate and support Internet administration processes. From 2004 to 2005 she provided trouble-shooting solutions for the PeopleSoft Help Desk at Science and Technology, Kuwait. She designed and produced the “PeopleSoft” operating system manuals, and trained faculty staff and students in systems functions and use. She served as Marketing Executive for Informatics, Libya in 2004 coordinating marketing projects and staff for trade exhibitions as well as designing brochures and advertisements while attending academic promotional shows and sales visits. In 2007 she earned certificates as a Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. She also earned a Foundation Certificate in IT at Services Management (ITIL). In 2005 she received her Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) IT Professional Certification as well as the Comptia ‘Network+’ Certification in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She has studied English and German languages, in 2008 studying beginning German in Beijing, and in 2009 studying English for Arts at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. Ms. Gao earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney in 2003.

Luo Hua Liang

Mr. Luo Hua Liang is appointed as the Director of Zap. He has ten years of management experience and has experience in manufacturing and trading in China. From 2009 until the present he has served as Vice President of Jonway Auto, managing procurement and quality assurance. From 2002 to 2008, he was the Vice President of Huadu, a China based steel trading company where he was in charge of operation supply and logistics. Mr. Liang earned a degree in Business Management from Zhejiang University (PRC) in 2002.

Priscilla Lu

Dr. Priscilla Marilyn Lu, Ph.D., is the Director of ZAP. Dr. Lu has served as founder and general partner of Cathaya Capital, L.P., a private equity venture fund focused on technology-based mature businesses, leveraging cross border alliances in China, with an emphasis in the clean technology and health care industries. From 2003 to 2009, Dr. Lu was a China advisor to Mayfield Fund, a venture capital firm with over $2.8 billion under management. While at Mayfield Fund, Dr. Lu helped found the GSR Fund, a venture capital fund in China overseeing more than $700 million in investments. In 2006, Dr. Lu founded ViDeOnline Inc., a company which delivered digital media over secured broadband and mobile networks to service providers to China broadband operators, and Dr. Lu served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2007. In 1994, Dr. Lu founded interWAVE Communications, a provider of mobile GSM and CDMA networks. Dr. Lu served as its Chief Executive Officer and its Chairman until 2003. Dr. Lu oversaw the initial public offering of interWAVE’s Common Stock on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Before this, Dr. Lu was at AT&T Bell Laboratories for 16 years, where she led efforts in digital switching and networking and developed the early technologies in CMOS VLSI in microprocessors. Dr. Lu has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from University of Wisconsin, Madison and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University, funded as a Bell Labs Scholar.

Co Tuong Nguyen

Mr. Co Tuong Nguyen has been re-appointed as the Director of ZAP., effective August 7, 2013. Mr. Nguyen serves as Chief Financial Officer of Cathaya Capital. He has experience in corporate finance and corporate management. Mr. Nguyen was previously Corporate Finance Director of Jaccar Holdings Vietnam. Before joining Jaccar Holdings in 2008, he was Deputy Director of Corporate Strategy and Finance Department of Prudential Life Insurance (Vietnam). Mr. Nguyen also has spent 7 years with FedEx in France as Senior Financial Advisor and 3-year professional experience with Ernst & Young as an auditor. Mr. Nguyen received his Master in Auditing and Consulting from “Ecole Supérieure de commerce de Paris”, France and MBA in International Business in 2000.

Steven Schneider

Mr. Steven M. Schneider is Director of ZAP. He resigned from from all other positions as an officer of the company, effective June 6, 2012. He has served as Secretary of ZAP since April 2011 and a director and Chief Executive Officer of ZAP since October 2002, when ZAP acquired RAP Group and Voltage Vehicles, businesses he founded which specialized in the distribution of electric and alternative fuel vehicles including automobiles, motorcycles and bicycles. Mr. Schneider currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Samyang Optics Co., Ltd., a Korean optical lens manufacturing and distribution company turning to the electronic vehicle market in Korea and an investor in ZAP. Mr. Schneider was also recently appointed the President of Voltage Vehicles, one of ZAP’s subsidiaries. Recently, Mr. Schneider was named a member of the Bay Area Council; (business leaders committed to promoting the health and well-being of the Bay Area with a focus on building the economic region’s relationship with China) and was appointed a Senior Advisor for Economic Development to Hangzhou, one of China's "Innovation Zones".

Huai Yi Wang

Mr. Huai Yi Wang is appointed as the Director of ZAP. He is is also the Chairman and a member of Jonway Group.
