Name Description

Harris Simmons

Mr. Harris Henry Simmons is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Zions Bancorporation. He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, or CEO, of Zions Bancorporation and ZB, N.A., our national bank subsidiary. He is a director of Questar Corporation where he serves on the audit, and governance and nominating committees. Mr. Simmons’ over 40 years of experience in banking and leadership of the Company is invaluable to the Board. During his tenure as our President and then Chairman and CEO, we have grown from $3 billion in assets to our present $60 billion in assets. He is past chairman of the American Bankers Association and a member of the Financial Services Roundtable.

Scott McLean

Mr. Scott J. McLean is President of Zions Bancorporation., and Chairman of Amegy Bank N.A., a subsidiary of the company. Mr. McLean has served as CEO of Amegy Bank from 2009 to the present, prior to which he served as President from 2003 to December 2009. Previously, he worked for JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor, Texas Commerce Bank, for 23 years in a variety of executive capacities, including President of TCB Dallas from 1985 to 1993, CEO of TCB El Paso from 1993 to 2007, and President of JPMorgan Chase in Houston from 1998 to 2001. He is involved in numerous organizations, serving as a director of CenterPoint Energy, Inc., and a trustee of Southern Methodist University, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and United Way of Greater Houston, for which he has also served as chairman of its board of directors and citywide campaign. Mr. McLean graduated from Southern Methodist University and received his MBA degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Paul Burdiss

Mr. Paul Burdiss has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company., effective May, 08, 2015. Mr. Burdiss most recently served as Corporate Treasurer for SunTrust Banks, Inc. From 2006 until he joined SunTrust in 2011, he served as Corporate Treasurer at Comerica Bank. Mr. Paul Burdiss has served for the past several years as Corporate Treasurer at SunTrust Banks, Inc., one of the nation’s leading bank holding companies, with $187 billion in assets, where he has had responsibility for overseeing the firm’s investment portfolio, capital management, liquidity and interest rate risk management. He has also been actively involved in supporting the firm’s stress testing and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review process. Previously, Mr. Burdiss served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Comerica Inc., a large regional bank headquartered in Dallas, Texas, where he previously served as Director of Investor Relations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Burdiss worked in Chicago, Illinois as a relationship manager at The Bank of Nova Scotia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Administration from Michigan State University, and an MBA degree from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Dianne R. James is Chief Human Resource Officer, Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources of National Bank of Arizona; officer of National Bank of Arizona since 2006.

Edward Schreiber

Mr. Edward P. Schreiber is Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer of Zions Bancorporation. Most recently, Mr. Schreiber has been a managing director of Alvarez & Marsal's Financial Industry Advisory Services, LLC (FIAS), where he headed up the FIAS's enterprise risk management efforts. Previously, he served for eleven years as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at TD Bank, N.A. and predecessor companies, in Portland, Maine; and for nineteen years as a national bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Michael Morris

Mr. Michael Morris is Executive Vice President, Corporate Chief Credit Officer of Zions Bancorporation., effective August 16, 2013. Mr. Morris has been serving as executive vice president of Zions Bank's Real Estate Division since 2009; he also was managing director and group head of Real Estate Capital Markets for Zions Bancorporation. During his banking tenure he has had various management and oversight responsibilities, including REIT finance, loan syndications, workouts and restructured credits, and real estate owned sales. He has originated and managed more than $5.5 billion in real estate credit and investment exposure, with funds provided to middle-market and institutional developers and investors, under secured and unsecured borrowing arrangements. Prior to joining Zions in 2007, Morris managed the Real Estate and Investment Group for JP Morgan Real Estate and Banc One's Real Estate Investment Corporation; additionally, he managed senior debt operations as an executive vice president for Banc One Corporation. He also served as a senior vice president with First Interstate Bank of California in Los Angeles, where he managed the Southern California Real Estate Banking Group, among other duties, from 1988 to 1995. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and attended Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in California. Active in the community, he serves on several community boards, including Ballet West, Kimball Art Center, Maynard Dixon Thunderbird Foundation and the Utah Bankers Association. Michael is the former Chairman of the Board for the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration.

Joseph Reilly

Mr. Joseph L. Reilly is Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Strategist of the Company. Reilly has served as the company's CIO since 2011. He joined Zions in 2001 as director of Architecture and Development, and has held roles as director of Information Systems & Technology and chief technology officer. He was a Bank Systems & Technology 2012 Elite 8 Winner. Before joining Zions, he held senior roles at Bank of America, Xpede, and Alltel Information Services. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a degree in business - management information systems.

Mr. James R. Abbott is Senior Vice President - Investor Relations of Zions Bancorporation. Prior to 2009, Senior Vice President and Equity Analyst (including with respect to the Company) with FBR Capital Markets.

Jennifer Smith

Ms. Jennifer Smith is Chief Information Officer of the Company. Smith has served as director of Enterprise Operations since 2011 and has been responsible for the Customer Care Center, Deposit and Treasury Operations, Enterprise Loan Operations, and Consumer Lending and Card Operations departments. Prior to joining Enterprise Technology and Operations she served as Zions Bancorporation's director of Internal Audit. She also held a variety of senior management roles in technology and operations risk management and internal audit at Wells Fargo. Smith holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from the University of Utah.

Mr. Suren K. Gupta is an Director of the Company. Mr. Gupta’s deep experience in technology, operations, and business strategy adds depth to our Board’s knowledge about data, technology, and security, areas of evolving and increasing risk to the financial services industry. He has held senior technology, operations, sales, marketing and strategic development roles at GMAC Residential, INTELSAT, a telecommunications company, and at Thomson Corp., an information company.

Vivian Lee

Dr. Vivian S. Lee is an Director of the Company. Dr. Lee has served as senior vice president of Health Sciences at the University of Utah, dean of the University’s School of Medicine, and CEO of University of Utah Health Care since 2011. She was previously the vice dean for Science, senior vice president, and chief scientific officer of New York University Medical Center. Dr. Lee brings a wealth of experience as a CEO focused on streamlining processes and improving efficiency in the highly regulated and rapidly evolving health care industry. From 2014 until 2015, Ms. Lee also served on the Board of Directors of Zions First National Bank. She is responsible for an annual budget of more than $2.4 billion, and leads a healthcare system comprising four hospitals, numerous clinical and research specialty centers, neighborhood health centers, an insurance plan, and more than 1,200 board-certified physicians.

Edward Murphy

Mr. Edward F. Murphy is Director of Zions Bancorporation effective July 17, 2014. Mr. Murphy is a former executive vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he served as the principal financial officer and was responsible for enterprise wide operational risk management. He is also a former executive vice president of JP Morgan Chase Incorporated. Mr. Murphy is a Certified Public Accountant who contributes significant expertise in accounting and financial reporting in the banking industry, as well as extensive experience in operational risk management and internal control processes. During his 21-year career at JP Morgan Chase, he held several senior leadership positions, including principal accounting officer, global director of internal audit, chief operating officer of Asia Pacific operations, and chief financial officer of the consumer and middle markets businesses.

Jerry Atkin

Mr. Jerry C. Atkin is an Independent Director Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Atkin is chairman and retired CEO of SkyWest, Inc., based in St. George, Utah. Mr. Atkin brings his skills and experience as the head of a publicly traded company for 40 years as well as an accounting background to our Board. At SkyWest, he led the company’s growth from annual revenue of less than $1 million to more than $3 billion. Prior to becoming CEO of SkyWest, Mr. Atkin was its chief financial officer.

Patricia Frobes

Ms. Patricia Frobes is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Ms. Frobes formerly served as group senior vice president for legal affairs and risk management and general counsel at The Irvine Company in Newport Beach, California. Ms. Frobes brings a strong real estate and legal background, as well as broad knowledge of the California market, to the Board. Prior to joining The Irvine Company, she was a partner and vice chair at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where she specialized in real estate development and financing matters. She is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, a past chair of the California State Bar Real Property Section executive committee, and past co-chair of the California State Bar joint committee on reform of anti-deficiency laws.

J. David Heaney

Mr. J. David Heaney is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation,. since December 2005. Mr. Heaney is chairman of Heaney Rosenthal Inc., a Houston, Texas-based financial organization specializing in investment in private companies in various industry sectors. Mr. Heaney contributes financial and legal expertise, and broad knowledge of the Texas market to our Board. He was a founding director of Amegy Bancorporation, Inc., which we acquired in December 2005. He has also served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Sterling Chemicals, Inc. Mr. Heaney was a partner of the law firm Bracewell & Patterson (now Bracewell).

Roger Porter

Dr. Roger B. Porter, Ph.D., is Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Dr. Porter serves as IBM Professor of Business and Government at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and as a director of Extra Space Storage, Inc., Packaging Corporation of America, and Tenneco Inc. Dr. Porter brings to the Board his broad knowledge of business-government relations and economics. He has served for more than a decade in senior economic policy positions in the White House, including as assistant to the president for economic and domestic policy from 1989 to 1993. He was also director of the White House Office of Policy Development in the Reagan Administration and executive secretary of the president’s economic policy board during the Ford Administration. He is the author of several books on economic policy.

Stephen Quinn

Mr. Stephen D. Quinn is an Independent Director of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Quinn is a former managing director and general partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, New York. He is a director of Group 1 Automotive, Inc. and was a director of American Express Bank Ltd. prior to its sale in 2009. Mr. Quinn contributes financial and investment banking expertise to the Board. At Goldman Sachs, he specialized in corporate finance, spending two decades structuring mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other transactions for some of America’s best-known corporations. At Group 1 Automotive, he currently chairs the finance and risk management committee and is a member of the audit and compensation committees. He has also served as Group 1 Automotive’s lead director. At American Express Bank Ltd., Mr. Quinn chaired the risk committee and served as a member of its audit committee.
