BBVA Banco Frances S.A. (the Bank), incorporated on October 14, 1886, is an Argentina-based bank. The Bank is a provider of financial and non-financial services to a range of markets segments, through a network of 240 consumer branch offices, 27 branch offices, specialized in the middle-market segment and four branch offices for corporate and institutional customers. The Bank also conducts capital markets and securities operations directly, in the over-the-counter market, and through a subsidiary, in the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange. The Bank is a part of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A. (BBVA), which controls the Bank. In February 2011, the Company completed the process of merger by incorporation with Consolidar Comercializadora SA. In June 2011, the Bank transferred 66.21% stake, in Consolidar Compania de Seguros de Retiro SA to Origenes Compania de Seguros de Retiro SA, CMS de Argentina SA and Grupo Dolphin Holding SA.

During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company re-launched mobile banking, a tool, which enables customers to handle questions and transactions, through their mobile phones.
