Celestica uses technologies in the assembly and testing of its products, and has continually made investments in the development of new assembly and test process techniques. Its product assurance teams perform product life testing and full circuit characterization to ensure that designs meet or exceed required specifications. Its failure analysis capabilities concentrate on identifying the root cause of product failures and determining corrective actions. The root causes of failures typically relate to inherent component defects and/or deficiencies in design robustness. Products are subjected to various environmental extremes, including temperature, humidity, vibration, voltage and rate of use. Field conditions are simulated in failure analysis laboratories, which employ advanced electron microscopes, spectrometers and other advanced equipment.

Celestica’s logistics offering includes warehouse and distribution, freight management, logistics consulting services, product and materials visibility, and reverse logistics. It designs and tests the packaging of products for bulk shipment or single end-customer use. The Company offers a range of after-market services that can be individualized to meet each customer's requirements. These services include field failure analysis, product upgrades, repair and engineering change management.
