GreenHunter Energy, Inc. (GreenHunter), incorporated on June 7, 2005, is focused to acquire businesses, develop projects and operate assets in the renewable energy sectors of wind, solar, geothermal, biomass and biofuels. The Company is focused on the renewable energy sectors of wind, biomass and biofuels. Its assets consist of leases of real property for future development of wind energy projects located in Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming and California, located in Houston, Texas, and a biomass power plant located in El Centro, California. The Company operates in three segments: BioFuels, Wind Energy, and Biomass.

As of December 31, 2008, the Company had six wind projects. The projects are located in Montana (2 locations), California, Texas (3 locations), and Wyoming. Channel Refining Corporation (CRC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
