i-minerals inc. is engaged in the development of the Helmer-Bovill industrial mineral property. The Helmer-Bovill property is consists of 12 adjacent and non-adjacent mineral leases that cover a border phase of the Thatuna granodiorite (TG) that hosts potentially economic deposits of feldspar, quartz and kaolinitic clays, primarily kaolinite and halloysite. The Helmer-Bovill property is located in Latah County, Idaho. These minerals consists of in two related deposit types, which include the unweathered Thatuna granodiorite hosts deposits of sodium (Na) feldspar and quartz; and the weathered Thatuna granodiorite hosts residual deposits of potassium (K) feldspar, kaolin (kaolinite /halloysite) and quartz. During the fiscal year ended April 30, 2012, the Company has identified three resources, which include Kelly’s Basin, MC Tailings and the Bovill Kaolin Project.
