Sagentia Group plc (Sagentia) is an international technology consulting company. The principal activities of the Company is the provision of outsourced research and development (R&D) consultancy services from market analysis, through product development to transfer-to-manufacturing, and the development and exploitation of intellectual property. Sagentia develops technologies in the medical (diagnostics, patient care and surgical) and commercial (industrial and consumer) industries. The Company operates in two segments: Core Business and Other. Core Business activities includes all fees for services operations, including recharged materials and product and license income generated directly from these activities. Other activities include rental income from Harston Mill and external information technology (IT) services. On January 14, 2011, the Company acquired remaining 20% interest in Manage5Nines Limited, and increased its holding to 100%.
