The Company's Enterprise Performance HDDs offers 10,000 and 15,000 revolutions per minute (RPM) Enterprise Performance disk drives for improved energy efficiency. Its 10,000 RPM HDDs ship in storage capacities ranging from 300 gigabyte to 1.8 terabyte, and its 15,000 RPM HDDs ship in storage capacities ranging from 146 to 600 gigabyte. The Company's Enterprise Capacity disk drives are shipped in 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch form factors and in storage capacities of up to six terabyte that rotate at 7,200 RPM speeds. The Company's Archive HDDs provide up to eight terabyte of low-cost storage designed specifically for active archive storage environments in cloud data centers. Its Kinetic HDDs are the Ethernet-connected HDD with an open source object application program interface (API) designed specifically for hyper scale and scale-out object storage environments. Its Enterprise SSDs are available in capacities up to 800 gigabyte, the SSD features 12 gigabyte per second SAS, and delivers the speed and consistency needed for demanding enterprise storage and server applications. It also offers Nytro family of accelerator cards with capacity up to four terabyte.
The Company's Desktop HDDs and SSHDs offers 3.5-inch desktop drives ship in both HDD and SSHD configurations and offers up to four terabyte of capacity. Desktop drives are designed for applications, such as personal computers and workstations. The Company's Mobile HDDs and SSHDs are used in applications ranging from laptops, tablets, convertible systems, and gaming consoles.
The Company's Video HDDs are used in video applications like digital video recorders (DVR) and media centers. Its surveillance drives are built to support the high-write workload of an always-on, always-recording video surveillance system. These surveillance optimized drives are built to support the surveillance market with support for multiple hard drive streams and capacities up to six terabyte.
The Company's network attached storage (NAS) drives are built to support the performance and reliability demanded by small and medium businesses, and incorporate interface software with custom-built error recovery controls, power settings, and vibration tolerance. Its NAS HDD solutions are available in capacities up to six terabyte. The Company's external backup storage solutions are shipped under the Backup Plus and Expansion product lines, as well as under the Samsung and LaCie brand names. These product lines are available in capacities ranging from 500 gigabyte to 8 terabyte.
