Wacoal Holdings Corp. (Wacoal), incorporated in 1949, is a designer, manufacturer and marketer in Japan of women’s intimate apparel, with a share of the Japanese market for foundation garments and lingerie. The Company also designs, manufactures and sells nightwear, children’s underwear, outerwear, sportswear, hosiery and other apparel and textile products, and engages in restaurant businesses, cultural projects and builds interiors for commercial premises, including sales counters operated in department stores and other retailers carrying the Company’s apparel. The Company’s product categories are innerwear, outerwear and sportswear, hosiery, textile products and other products.

The Company’s foundation garments include brassieres, girdles and bodysuits (a one-piece combination brassiere and girdle). The products are available in a variety of colors, with variations in lace, trim and detailing. Lingerie, consisting mainly of slips, bra-slips (a combination bra and slip), women’s briefs, undershirts and shorts, is produced in a variety of fashion styles. The Company offers foundation garments and lingerie under its Wing label through general retailers. In addition to its Wacoal and Wing brand products, the product line also includes luxury products Trefle, PARFAGE, Salute and Lesiage The Company designs and markets women’s nightwear, including pajamas, negligees, nightgowns and robes. Its nightwear products are primarily sold through department stores and chain stores. Children’s underwear products include undergarments for girls and teenage women, children’s sleepwear and other garment offerings. Its outerwear and sportswear product line consists of women’s outerwear, including dresses, skirts, slacks, jackets and sweaters, and sportswear, featuring CW-X product line. The Company’s hosiery products include pantyhose, tights, knee-highs and anklets offered in various sizes and colors.

The Company sells its products in Japan, the United States, China and certain countries in Europe and Southeast Asia. It sells its products through general retailers. The Company focuses to expand mail order catalog and Internet sales, and provide new selling channels for selected products. As of March 31, 2009, the Company had a total of 102 specialty retail stores, including 14 factory outlet stores. The Company’s subsidiaries include Wacoal Corp., Peach John Co., Ltd., Niigata Wacoal Sewing Corp., Torica Inc. and Wacoal France S.A.
