China Merchants Property Development Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the development, sale, leasing and management of properties and the supply of electricity and water. The Company's property projects include Lanxi Valley Phase II, Yishanjun, Kings Ville and Garden City, among others. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company developed 42 real estate projects in 11 cities of China. As of December 31, 2008, the Company owned 3,300,000 square meters of properties under construction and sold out 1,610,000 square meters of properties. In 2008, the Company supplied 841,460,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity and 28,410,000 million metric tons of water in Shekou Industrial Zone, Shenzhen.
