Yuhan Corporation is a Korean company is engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceuticals. The Company operates its business under three segments: pharmaceutical segment, which provides nonprescription drugs such as vitamins, hair dyes, cosmetics and remedies for skin diseases, and prescription drugs such as antibiotics, remedies for gastric ulcer, cold remedies, hypertension drugs, diabetes drugs, anti-platelet aggregation drugs and others; distribution segment, which provides household products and animal drug products such as bleaching agents and antimicrobials, and overseas business segment which mainly distributes remedies for acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), antibiotics and others to overseas countries. It is also engaged in the research and development of new drugs for its customers.
