Hynix Semiconductor Inc. is a semiconductor manufacturer. The Company is engaged in the developing and manufacturing of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) components and modules, multi-chip products (MCPs) and NAND flash memory products, as well as double-data-rate (DDR) random access memory, synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) products and flash software. Its products have applications in cellular phones, personal computers, digital televisions (TVs), set-top boxes, digital versatile disk (DVDs), printers, car navigation systems, personal digital assistants and others. In addition, the Company's semiconductor-manufacturing service unit is involved in the solution development and foundry of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors.
