LG Electronics Inc. is a Korea-based manufacturer specialized in the provision of electronics and telecommunication products. The Company operates its business through four divisions: mobile communication, digital appliance, digital display and digital media. The mobile communication division offers telecommunication terminals, mobile communication terminals and systems, private branch exchange (PBX) systems, personal computers and others. The digital appliance division provides air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, moisteners, compressors, motors and other electronic products and components. The digital display division offers televisions (TVs), monitors, plasma display panel (PDP) modules, video tapes and others. The digital media division provides storage devices, audios, videocassette recorders (VCRs), digital versatile discs (DVDs) and others.
