China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (CR Power) is an independent power producer, which invests, develops, operates and manages power plants in China. The Company is engaged in two operating divisions: sales of electricity (inclusive of supply of heat that generated by thermal power plant) and coal mining. As of December 31, 2008, CR Power has 28 power plants in commercial operation. The total attributable operational generation capacity of the Company is 12,981 megawatts, with 34% located in Eastern China, 24% located in Southern China, 23% located in Central China, 12% located in Northeastern China, and 7% located in Northern China. In April 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of a total of 54.115% equity interest in Shenhai Thermal Power Plant. Shenhai Thermal Power Plant is located in Shenyang City of Liaoning Province. It comprises three 200 megawatts coal-fired generating units.
