Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited is a China-based company engaged in manufacture and sale of electric power generating equipment. The Company’s main products are thermal power generating equipment, including circulating fluidized bed boilers, flame boilers, fuel boilers, steam turbines for cogeneration, air cooled steam turbines and air cooled turbine generators, among others; hydropower generating equipment, including mixed-flow, axial-flow, impact-type and once-through hydro turbine generator units; wind power generating equipment, including offshore wind turbine units and direct-driven wind turbine units, as well as other products, including gas turbines, nuclear electric power generating equipment and environmental protection services. As of December 31, 2008, the Company had three major subsidiaries, which involved in manufacture and sale of power generating equipment.
