China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of dairy products in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The Company’s products include liquid milk products, such as ultra-high temperature milk (UHT) milk, milk beverages and yogurt, ice cream and milk powder. The Company has three business segments: liquid milk products segment, ice cream products segment and other dairy products segment. Liquid milk products segment is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of UHT milk, milk beverages and yogurt. Ice cream products segment manufactures and distributes ice cream. Other dairy products segment manufacture and distribute milk powder. On 5 September 2008, the Company acquired AustDairy Limited. Its subsidiaries include China Dairy Holdings, China Dairy (Mauritius) Limited, Inner Mongolia Mengniu Dairy (Group) Company Limited and Beijing Mengniu Dairy Co., Ltd.
