China Wireless Technologies Limited is a Hong Kong-based company. The Company operates in two segments: the mobile phone segment, which is engaged in the research, development, production and sale of mobile phones, and the property investment segment, which invests in properties for their rental income potential. Its smartphone products include code division multiple access (CDMA)/global system for mobile communications (GSM) dual-mode Smartphone; GSM/GSM dual-mode smartphone; time division-synchronous code division multiple access (TD-SCDMA)/GSM dual-mode smartphone, and CDMA single-mode smartphone. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company launched 15 dual-model smartphones, including seven CDMA/GSM dual-mode smartphones, three TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode smartphones, three GSM/GSM dual-mode smartphones and two CDMA single-mode smartphones. In August 2008, it launched a TD-SCDMA/China multimedia mobile broadcasting smartphone, Coolpad 6168, with television functionality.
