TOM has four business segments: Internet group, which provides wireless Internet services, online advertising, commercial enterprise solutions, and Internet access; publishing group, which involves magazine and book circulation and sales of publication advertising and other related products; outdoor media group, which involves advertising sales of outdoor media assets and provision of outdoor media services, and television and entertainment group, which involves advertising sales in relation to satellite television channel operations, provision of broadcasting post production, and event production and marketing services. On 23 May 2008, the Company, through a wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing LingXun Interactive Science Technology and Development Company Limited, entered into an agreement to acquire an additional 25% interests in HJSM.
