Nextgen, Inc. is a Japan-based information technology (IT) company that operates in two business segments. The Next Generation Network (NGN) Solution segment chiefly provides Internet protocol (IP) telephony system-related solutions for hardware and software, along with the provision of large-scale session initiation protocol (SIP) servers for carriers, SIP differential absorption servers, SIP vulnerability attack prevention servers, large-scale phone recording and interception servers, third party call control servers and large-scale SIP servers for corporations. The NGN Service segment offers maintenance and support services primarily for software, such as the research and recovery businesses in case of software failure, as well as general-purpose servers, routers and switches, among others. This segment also provides system engineering services and consulting services to corporate customers that are involved in the communications business.
