The Medical and Related Product segment, along with its subsidiaries and an associated company, mainly manufactures and sells pharmaceuticals and related products in Japan, as well as the United States, Brazil, Vietnam, Indonesia, United Kingdom and Taiwan. The Cable Television (CATV) Broadcasting segment, through its subsidiaries, is involved in the urban CATV broadcasting and Internet connection businesses. The Others segment is engaged in the sale and rearing of experimental animals, the sale of experimental equipment and materials, the purchase, manufacture and sale of packing materials, the non-life insurance and advertising agency businesses, among others.
