Powerchip Semiconductor Corp. is principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of integrated circuits (ICs). The Company offers dynamic random access memory (DRAM) products, including synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) products, double-data rate (DDR) DRAM products, DDR2 DRAM products, Data Flash products, as well as wafer foundry services. The Company's products are applied in work stations, personal computers, notebook computers, printers, televisions, personal digital assistants (PDAs), mobile phones, digital cameras and digital televisions. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company obtained approximately 84% and 16% of its total revenue from its packaging components and wafers, respectively. The Company primarily distributes its products mainly in Asia.
