Gemdale Corporation is principally engaged in the development and sale of real estate. The Company's major products are commercial residential buildings. The Company's property projects include Gemdale Mellon Town (Shenzhen), Gemdale Green World (Tianjin), Gemdale Gzlakes (Guangzhou), Gemdale Green Spring Dawn (Shanghai) and Gemdale Green Spring Bank (Shanghai), among others. The Company operates its business mainly in Guangdong Province, Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan (located in Hubei Province), Xi'an (located in Shaanxi Province) and Shenyang (located in Liaoning Province). During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company sold out approximately 1.11 million square meters of properties.
