KDDI CORPORATION is a Japan-based telecommunications company. The Company operates in three business segments. The Fixed Telecommunication segment is engaged in the provision of domestic and international telecommunication service, Internet service, solution service, data centre service and cable television service, among others. The Mobile Telecommunication segment is engaged in the sale of mobile handsets and the provision of its services under the brand name au. The Others segment is involved in the operation of call centers, and the provision of content service, mobile phone service others. The Company has 60 subsidiaries and 17 associated companies in domestic and overseas markets.
