It is engaged in power quality monitoring and metering, uninterruptible power systems, programmable power equipment, electromagnetic compatibility test equipment, sensors for gas turbines, and dashboard instruments for heavy trucks and other vehicles. EIG offers process control instruments for the oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and factory automation industries. EIG has operating facilities, including approximately 50 in the United States, over eight each in the United Kingdom and Germany, approximately four in Canada, over two each in China, France and Switzerland, and approximately one each in Argentina, Austria, Denmark, India, Japan, Mexico and Taiwan.
The Company's EMG segment offers electrical connectors and electronics packaging used in aerospace and defense, medical and industrial applications, as well as its advanced technical motor and motion control products, which are used in a range of medical devices, office and business equipment, factory automation, robotics and other applications. EMG supplies powdered metals, strip and foil, specialty clad metals and metal matrix composites. Its blowers and heat exchangers provide electronic cooling and environmental control for the aerospace and defense industries. Its motors are used in commercial appliances, fitness equipment, food and beverage machines, hydraulic pumps, industrial blowers and vacuum cleaners. Additionally, it operates a global network of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities. EMG has operating facilities, including approximately 40 in the United States, over nine in the United Kingdom, approximately three each in China and France, over two each in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Mexico, and approximately one each in Brazil, Malaysia, Serbia and Taiwan.
