Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, incorporated on July 14, 1977, provides a range of banking and financial products and services. The Company's segments include Australia; New Zealand; Institutional; Asia Retail & Pacific; Wealth Australia, and Technology, Services and Operations (TSO) and Group Centre. The Company offers its services to retail, high net worth, small business, corporate and commercial and institutional customers. The Company's operations span Australia, New Zealand, and a number of countries in the Asia Pacific region, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and the United States.
The Australia division consists of the retail and the corporate and commercial banking (C&CB) business units. Retail business units provide products and services to consumer and private banking customers in Australia through the branch network, mortgage specialists, the contact center and a variety of self-service channels, including Internet banking, phone banking, automated teller machines (ATMs), Website and digital banking. C&CB business units provide a range of banking services, including traditional relationship banking and financial solutions, including asset financing through dedicated managers focusing on privately owned small, medium and large enterprises, as well as the agricultural business segment.
The New Zealand division consists of the retail and the commercial business units. Retail business unit provides a range of banking and wealth management services to consumer, private banking and small business banking customers. The Company delivers its services through its Internet and application-based digital solutions and a network of branches, mortgage specialists, relationship managers and contact centers. Commercial business unit provides a range of banking services, including traditional relationship banking and financial solutions, including asset financing through managers focusing on privately owned medium to large enterprises and the agricultural business segment.
The Institutional division services global institutional and business customers. These customers are located in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, America, Papua New Guinea and the Middle East across three product sets: Transaction Banking, Loans, and Specialized Finance and Markets.
Asia Retail & Pacific
The Asia Retail & Pacific division consists of the Asia retail and the Pacific business units, connecting customers to specialists for their banking needs. Asia Retail business units provide general banking and wealth management services to retail customers across nine Asian countries through relationship managers, branches, contact centers and a variety of self-service digital channels, including Internet and mobile banking, phone and ATMs). Core products offered include deposits, credit cards, loans, investments and insurance. Pacific business units provide products and services to retail customers, small to medium-sized enterprises, institutional customers and Governments located in the Pacific Islands. Products and services include retail products provided to consumers, traditional relationship banking and financial solutions provided to business customers through managers.
The Wealth Australia division consists of the insurance and funds management business units. The Wealth Australia division provides insurance, investment and superannuation solutions for customers to connect with, protect and grow their wealth.
Technology, Services and Operations and Group Centre
The TSO and Group Centre division provides support to the operating divisions, including technology, operations, shared services, property, risk management, financial management, strategy, marketing, human resources and corporate affairs. The Group Centre includes Group Treasury, Shareholder Functions and minority investments in Asia.
