Life Sciences

The Company’s Life Sciences segment includes its domestic and international life science staffing businesses. The Company provides contract life science professionals to clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, personal care, chemical, medical device, automotive, education and environmental industries. Its contract professionals include chemists, clinical research associates, clinical lab assistants, engineers, biologists, biochemists, microbiologists, molecular biologists, food scientists, regulatory affairs specialists, lab assistants and other skilled scientific professionals. Life Sciences segment operates from local branch offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and Canada. During the year ended December 31, 2008, life science segment revenues represented 20.9 % of its total revenues.

Healthcare

The Healthcare segment includes its Nurse Travel and Allied Healthcare lines of business. The Company offers its healthcare clients locally based and traveling contract professionals, from more than 10 healthcare and medical financial and allied occupations. Its contract professionals include nurses, specialty nurses, health information management professionals, dialysis technicians, surgical technicians, imaging technicians, x-ray technicians, medical technologists, phlebotomists, coders, billers, claims processors and collections staff. During 2008, its healthcare segment revenues represented 29.2 % of its total revenues.

Physician

The Company’s Physician segment consists of VISTA Staffing Solutions, Inc. (VISTA). VISTA is a provider of physician staffing, known as locum tenens, and permanent physician search services based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Company provides short and long-term locum tenens services and full-service physician search and consulting services, primarily in the United States, with some locum tenens placements in Australia and New Zealand. It works with physicians in a range of specialties, placing them in hospitals, community-based practices and federal, state and local facilities. The Company physician segment operates out of one primary recruitment center with several branch offices. During 2008, its physician segment revenues represented 14.4 % of its total revenues.

IT and Engineering

The Company’s IT and Engineering segment consists of Oxford Global Resources, Inc. (Oxford). Oxford delivers consultants with expertise in specialized information technology, hardware and software engineering and mechanical, electrical, validation and telecommunications engineering fields. Its IT and Engineering segment places only highly qualified professionals across a range of disciplines. The segment operates out of several large sales and recruitment centers, including one in Cork, Ireland under the brand Oxford International, and a number of domestic branch offices under the brand Oxford & Associates. During 2008, IT and Engineering segment revenues represented 35.4% of its total revenues.
