Banco Bradesco S.A., incorporated on January 5, 1943, is a commercial bank. The Bank offers a range of banking and financial products and services in Brazil and abroad to individuals, large, mid-sized and small companies, and local and international corporations and institutions. The Bank's segments include Financial; Insurance and Capitalization bonds; Pension plans, and Other Activities. The Financial segment consists of financial institutions and holding companies, which are responsible for managing financial resources, and credit card, consortium and asset management companies. The Insurance Group segment comprises insurance, pension plan and capitalization bond companies. It operates customer service network branches of approximately 4,480.
The Bank offers banking services, including deposit-taking activities, individual and corporate banking services, credit and debit cards, leasing operations, investment banking, asset management, consortium services and others. Its insurance services include health insurance, life and personal accident insurance, automobile, casualty, pension plans, including individual and corporate plans, certified saving plans and pension investment contracts. The Bank, through its commercial, foreign exchange, consumer financing and housing loan portfolios, carries out all the types of banking activities. The Bank is involved in various other activities, either directly or indirectly, through its subsidiaries, with a focus on leasing, investment banking, brokerage, consortium management, credit cards, real estate projects, insurance, pension plans and capitalization bonds.
The Bank offers products and services, including Cash management solutions, solutions for the capital market, solutions of products and services to the public authorities and Cartoes Bradesco (Cards). It offers a range of credit cards to its clients, including American Express, Elo, Visa, MasterCard and various private labels. It also offers dental care and professional training services. Leasing services are commercialized through its branches network, as well as directly through its subsidiaries, such as Bradesco Leasing S.A. Arrendamento Mercantil (Bradesco Leasing) and Banco Bradesco Financiamentos S.A. It sells its insurance products, pension plans and capitalization bonds through its Website, through exclusive brokers based in its network of bank branches, and non-exclusive brokers throughout Brazil.
