The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary A&C Black Plc acquired Oxford International Publishers Limited on September 30, 2008 and and John Wisden (Holdings) Limited on November 30, 2008. In January 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Pacific Stratus Energy Ltd. In December 2008, the Company acquired John Wisden & Co.
