Centennial Coal Company Limited (Centennial) is engaged in mining and marketing of coal to Australian and export markets. The Company supplies thermal and coking coal to the domestic and export markets. Centennial is a fuel supplier to the New South Wales energy industry. Centennial sells approximately 25-30% of its coal into the export market. Coal is exported through ports at Newcastle and Port Kemble in New South Wales. The Company’s customers include power stations and steel mills in Japan, Korea, Europe and South America. The Company’s mining operations include Airly Project, Angus Place/Springvale joint venture, Awaba, Awaba East Project, Berrima, Charbon and Charbon Open-cut, Clarence, Mandalong, Myuna, Newstan, Neubeck’s Creek Project, Lambert’s Gully, Wolgan Road Project and Mannering.
