CapitaMall Trust (CMT) is a real estate investment trust (REIT). CMT owns and invests in income-producing assets which are used, or predominantly used, for retail purposes primarily in Singapore. As at 31 December 2008, CMT’s portfolio comprised a diverse list of over 2,300 leases with local and international retailers and achieved an average occupancy of approximately 100%. CMT’s portfolio comprises 14 retail properties, which are located in the suburban areas and downtown core of Singapore, such as Tampines Mall, Junction 8, Funan DigitaLife Mall, IMM Building, Plaza Singapura, Bugis Junction, Sembawang Shopping Centre, Jurong Entertainment Centre, Hougang Plaza, Raffles City Singapore (40% interest), Lot One Shoppers’ Mall, Bukit Panjang Plaza (90 out of 91 strata lots), Rivervale Mall and The Atrium@Orchard. The Company also owns approximately 20% stake in CapitaRetail China Trust. CMT is managed by CapitaMall Trust Management Limited.
