The Company manufactures cement through a closely controlled chemical process, which begins with the mining and crushing of limestone and clay, and, in some instances, other raw materials. The mix is dried and then fed into a grinder, which grinds the various materials in preparation for the kiln. The raw materials are calcined, or processed, at a high temperature in a kiln, to produce clinker. Clinker is the intermediate product used in the manufacture of cement. Its types of cement include Gray Ordinary Portland Cement, White Portland Cement, Masonry or Mortar, Oil-well Cement and Blended Cement.
Ready-mix concrete is a combination of cement, fine and coarse aggregates, admixtures (which control properties of the concrete including plasticity, pumpability, freeze-thaw resistance, strength and setting time), and water. The types of ready-mix concrete the Company offers include Standard Ready-Mix Concrete, Architectural and Decorative Concrete, Rapid-setting Concrete, Fiber-reinforced Concrete, Fluid-fill Concrete, Roller-compacted Concrete, Self-consolidating Concrete (SCC), Pervious Concrete and Antibacterial Concrete.
