Det norske Oljeselskap ASA (Det norske) is a Norway-based oil company engaged in the exploration, development and production of petroleum resources on the Norwegian continental shelf, including the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea. The Company is focused on exploring in Norway for new hydrocarbon resources. The Company’s upstream activities are organized in four units: Exploration, Field development and operations, Projects, and Johan Sverdrup. The Company also has overseas operations, which are related to construction and engineering of field development projects.
