The Company designs, manufactures or sources, markets and distributes a portfolio of product brands. The Company operates through three segments: Dorel Juvenile, Dorel Sports and Dorel Home Furnishings. The Company markets its products in the United States, Europe, Latin America, Canada, and Asia.

Dorel Juvenile

The Company's Dorel Juvenile segment is engaged in designing, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and retailing of children's furniture and accessories. Dorel Juvenile manufactures and distributes products, such as infant car seats, strollers, high chairs, toddler beds, playpens, swings, developmental toys, furniture items and infant health and safety aids. The segment includes brands, such as Safety 1st, Quinny, Maxi-Cosi, Tiny Love, Cosco, Infanti, Voyage, Angel, Disney and Eddie Bauer. The Dorel Juvenile segment has divisions in North America, Europe, Latin America, China, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.

The Company competes with Britax, Peg Perego, Chicco, Maclaren, Goodbaby International Holdings Limited and Newell Rubbermaid Group.

Dorel Sports

The Company's Dorel Sports segment is engaged in designing, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of recreational and leisure products and accessories. The Dorel Sports segment sells bicycles, bicycling and running apparel, children's electric rides-on, jogging strollers and bicycle trailers, as well as related parts and accessories. The segment includes brands, such as Cannondale, Schwinn, GT, Mongoose, Caloi, Roadmaster, Iron Horse and SUGOI. It has licensed brands on children's bicycles and tricycles. Jogging strollers and bicycle trailers are sold under the InStep and Schwinn brands, and children's electric rideons are sold mainly under KidTrax, as well as certain licenses.

The Company competes with Huffy, Dynacraft, Trek, Giant, Specialized, Scott, Raleigh, Castelli, Pearl Izumi, Bontrager, Rapha and Assos.

Dorel Home Furnishings

The Company's Dorel Home Furnishings segment is engaged in designing, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture and home furnishings. The Company's Dorel Home Furnishings segment consists of over four operating divisions, including Ameriwood Industries (Ameriwood), Cosco Home & Office (Cosco), Dorel Home Products (DHP) and Dorel Asia (Dorel Living). Ameriwood offers domestically manufactured RTA furniture, and has manufacturing and distribution facilities are located in Tiffin, Ohio, Dowagiac, Michigan, and Cornwall, Ontario. Ameriwood also has an import division, Altra Furniture (Altra), which designs and imports furniture primarily within the home entertainment and home office categories. Cosco sells furniture, step stools, hand trucks, specialty ladders and outdoor furniture. DHP manufactures futons and baby mattresses, and imports futons, bunk beds, mattresses and other accent furniture. Dorel Living specializes in sourcing upholstery and a range of wooden goods from Asia for distribution throughout North America.

The Company competes with Sauder Manufacturing, Whalen Furniture, Meco, Tricam and Werner.
