AB Electrolux (Electrolux) is a producer of household appliances and appliances for personal use, selling more than 40 million products to customers in 150 countries. Electrolux product range includes cookers, ovens, hoods, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble-dryers and vacuum cleaners under brands, such as Electrolux, AEG-Electrolux, Eureka and Frigidaire. The Company’s operations are divided into two business areas: consumer durables and professional products. Consumer durables are divided into four regions. Professional products has one region. Consumer durable products include cookers, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, hoods, small appliances, washing machines and vacuum cleaners. The Professional products business includes home spas and gyms, large screen televisions, espresso machines and steam ovens.
Consumer durable business is divided into four regions: Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia/Pacific. It comprises products for kitchens, fabric care and cleaning. Consumer durable products include cookers, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, hoods, small appliances, washing machines and vacuum cleaners. In Europe, the Company’s brands include Electrolux, AEG-Electrolux and Zanussi. In North America, it sells Electrolux and Frigidaire branded products. The Company’s brands in Australia include Electrolux, Westinghouse and Simpson. Electrolux also produces appliances that are sold by retail chains under their own brands.
The Company’s professional products include home spas and gyms, large screen televisions, espresso machines and steam ovens. In Europe, the Company supplies equipments for projects, such as hotels and cruise liners. In the United States, Electrolux supplies equipments to all the fast-food chains.
The Company competes with Bosch-Siemens, Indesit, Whirlpool, Dyson, Miele, TTI Group, General Electric, LG and Bissel.
