Telecom Egypt Company is an Egypt-based provider of landline, retail and wholesale telecommunication services. The Company's retail telecommunication services include access, local, long distance and international voice, Internet, data and other telecommunications-related services. Its wholesale services consist of broadband capacity leasing, Internet service and national and international interconnection services. Telecom Egypt Company has four subsidiaries, namely Egyptian Co. for Transferring Data "ET Data" (95.04%), an Internet service provider; Centra Technologies (58.76%), a manufacturer and distributor of personal computers; Middle East Radio Communications (51%), a company engaged in wireless communications and TE Information Technology (97.66%). The Company has also investments in a number of companies, amongst which is Vodafone Egypt (44.79%).
