Ford Motor Credit Company LLC (Ford Credit) is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (Ford). The Company offers a variety of automotive financing products to and through automotive dealers throughout the world. Ford Credit’s primary financing products fall into three categories: retail financing, wholesale financing and other financing. Retail financing includes purchasing retail installment sale contracts and retail lease contracts from dealers, and offering financing to commercial customers, primarily vehicle leasing companies and fleet purchasers, to lease or purchase vehicle fleets. Wholesale financing includes making loans to dealers to finance the purchase of vehicle inventory, also known as floorplan financing. Other financing includes making loans to dealers for working capital, improvements to dealership facilities, and to purchase or finance dealership real estate.
