Flight Centre Limited (FLT) is an Australia-based travel agency group engaged in the sale of travel and travel-related services, and products. It has more than 2,000 shops and businesses in 11 countries. The Company, through its retail and corporate brands, provides a complete travel service for leisure and business travelers. Its principal brand is the Flight Centre retail travel brand. FLT’s other leisure, corporate and wholesale brands include Escape Travel, Travel Associates, Student Flights, quickbeds.com and FCm Travel Solutions. FLT’s consultants organize flights, hotels, holidays, car hire, insurance, cruises, rail passes, travel insurance, coach tours, visas and frequent flyer points redemption. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009, the Company acquired a 50% interest each in Intrepid Travel Pty Ltd and Pedal Group Pty Ltd., and a 100% interest in Roads Touring Co. Ltd. On July 3, 2009, Flight Centre (USA) Inc transferred the Liberty and GoGo brand names to FLT.
